I was in the store today and I liked a patio set which I wanted to buy. Unfortunately they didn’t have the patio set in stock anymore. So I asked one of the representative if they can order it and they said no it’s the last one, but he said we can sell you the display for cheaper, if interested. So I agreed. The representative said he has to speak to the assistant manager. I spoke to the assistant manager name BABER. He’s approach was horrible. He was not at all professional, was very rude. I told him, because it’s a display and since you all want the set out of the store, it should be at a clearance price. He said no “ I don’t want to argue, it is what it is”. And then he said you should’ve come earlier. The set is priced at $1399. And he expects me to buy the display for that price. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. He not at all let me finish what I had to say and kept brushing me off.

As far as I know, Rona is the largest Canadian Home improvement store in my area.

I came in to buy some plumbing antifreeze. While the the website said they had over 500 units, the shelf was empty. After talking to the associates, they found the skid full of these and promptly pulled them down. It took a little longer than just picking them off the shelves, but, when they realized the shelves were empty, they acted quickly and we're always friendly.

I will continue to come back.

Last night I was in dire need of a very specific light sconce to replace one I had broken. The lovely ladies at the customer service desk and a gentleman named Doug were super helpful in locating and retrieving the sconce I needed from their display as it was the very last one they had in stock. The team was super kind, and I am very appreciative of their help. I will definitely be returning because of their service!

I came in to buy a lawn mower. Ethan the associate in the seasonal department was phenomenal.

He fielded my question on models and drive types.

He helped me make a decision and helped me in holding the item in another store for pickup since they didn't have it.

Great guy.

Parking at this place is good. Accessible parking and entrance.

Samantha was so helpful at self checkout. She smiled and asked how I was and told me which isle to find exactly what I needed. Very kind and calm considering how many customers were around.

As for the other staff around, none greeted me. They stood around and stared at me or were nowhere to be found. One even walked away as I was approaching.

As soon as I went to checkout with Samantha she noticed that I was struggling and pointed the fan in my direction as it was super hot out and I had my hands full. She did not hesitate to help me and quickly scanned through my items while making sure that I was alright due to the heat and just making conversation. Great experience from her, others not so much. She is the ONLY reason for the 5stars otherwise this review would’ve been maybe a 1-2.

I have dealt with the same salesperson
He was a bit of a snob the first few times we were there when it was called lowes. I have bought all my home appliances at this location.
All my appliances are LG with a warranty, min of 2 years. This time, i got an LG gas stove. I have yet to try it out. The salesperson was nice to my parents when they went shopping for it. When i met the salesperson, he provided all the information necessary for getting warranty activated. They also have a promotion going on, which gave me 100$ off my purchase price. The same model was a 100 dollars cheaper at homedepot. The only difference was they had it in stock.
Delivery was in 3 days as promised on time, prior to my past experiences. As i have booked an appt to get it installed by a licensed technician

Horrible experience with the third party flooring company.
Not ronas fault but beware!!!

The second party company they use did a horrible job and I've never wanted to call the police more!

The guys tried to ask me to go get them supplies twice and leave my house.. Then tried to get me to pay them for extra supplies without receipts.

I've never felt so uncomfortable in my own home.

If this number calls you. Don't pick up.

They have everything I need. They have provided me with a corporate account for discounts. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and easily accessible without wait. I prefer my shopping experience here over other big box stores.
