I went to Transformations in 2021. I suffered from extreme alcoholism, and was in early stages of liver failure. This facility helped save my life. I had never spent more than a few days away from home before, but had absolutely no problem living here for a month. The owner is personable and caring. Mary is amazing and absolutely caring of every single client. Every single therapist is knowledgeable and loving. They truly care about you, and not only teach you how to cage the beast of a disease, but how to live and love life again. Julia was my therapist, and to this day I still use the tools that she taught me one one one. Randi was an absolute pleasure, and motivated us daily.

The other staff is phenomenal as well. Jay is an excellent house manager, and really cares about our success as much as we did. To this day, he still sends me motivational texts. Ray was absolutely a delight as well, may he rest in peace.

Living here for over a month was such a pleasure. The staff understood my past trauma, and had no problem giving me my own apartment. The cook there was absolutely out of this world, as well.

All in all, the entire staff is amazing. The facility is amazing. And my experience was amazing. I even had the Nautilus shell tattooed on me so I never forget where I came from. On my 27th, I will be celebrating 18 months of sobriety.

Thanks Transformations, for so many things…but mostly for saving my life.

This was my first time in treatment. It was the BEST experience of my entire life!! The staff, the counselors, the women’s house (gorgeous) and the house-mother, Karen, was beyond exceptional! The counselors/ therapists are THEE BEST! And Jay, our AA connection/driver is absolutely the most wonderful person you’ll ever meet. So kind and so incredibly CARING. I couldn’t praise Transformations more! Stellar on every level! I highly, highly recommend. And, just 2 short blocks to the beach!

Amazing experience this place changed my life and give you all the tools you need to succeed and you can continue going back for a alumni meetings after you have left! This is the best treatment center I have ever gone too the staff is amazing Karen is a great woman, and the people who have left bad reviews definitely didn’t apply themselves and expect the facility to let them do whatever they want and think they can just sleep all day at the end of the day it’s a structured treatment center where you go to get sober it’s not a vacation but it is most definitely the best treatment center out there therapists are great especially Scott they prepare you for life on the outside and do many therapeutic activities would recommend this place for anyone serious about recovery and a great place for your loved ones to heal and get better this place is an absolute game changer I know so many people who stayed sober finally long after they left if you want to be successful in the long term this place is the one for you! Huge difference between this place and other treatment centers, if you go here you will feel like it was worth every cent! Very happy with the results I am sober 5 months later and still go to the alumni meetings and still see the therapist I was working with there! Transformations by the Gulf is truly a breath of fresh air. The owners truly care for their clients, they radiate a desire to teach clients a new way of life. Treatment here extends beyond the group and individual therapeutic environment and clients are given the opportunity to begin experiencing life without the use of substances. There is a balance of mind, body, and spirit and special focus on treating each part of the person as a whole.
