Sure the store is a little crowded, but you have to remember that this is an old business and the quality of the meats are superb. I picked up two racks of short ribs at $24.99kg and they are a nice 7” long rib and really good cut.

I have been going here for years. The quality of meat is amazing . They bring in specialty items from various countries and different parts of Canada. They recently started carrying grizzly Paul soda which is only available in Alberta. The customer service is always above and beyond. I highly recommend them anytime .

I have to say this time was not good. Tried a new product, hamburger cabbage buns. Extremely disappointed. No taste at all. Not worth the cost. Also tried to get the big beef ribs. You know the dinosaur kind. Used to get them but these ones were about the size of pork ribs. In fact I probably would have been better off with those. I was also able to get just 2 but now I had to buy a whole rack. Not sure what is happening over there but the last couple of visits is causing me to consider finding a new source for my meat.

When I first arrived at this store, there was this awful smell in the air, and I mean really awful smell, it felt like a landfill was near by. I was hesitant leaving the car. When we entered the store we were glad that it was not actually coming from the inside of this meatshop. Must've been the location and I was surprised that no one mentioned that in their reviews.

Besides that It's a really Great meat shop with a large variety of Central/Eastern European food. Lots of imported Polish, German, and Ukrainian goodies. You must do your groceries here at least once.
Give it a try you might find some foods that you never had before.

Stopped quickly to check out that store as I was driving around the area. The place came across as an inconvenient mess with narrow cluttered aisles and prices above average. I have certainly seen better organized shops and lower prices in Winnipeg. The cashier at the checkout didn’t even crack a smile or say hi. Perhaps, it’s worth visiting if you shop for Eastern European products.

We purchased 4 ribeye steaks and some sausages from this shop as we are wanting to support local, family-owned businesses. Tonight, we BBQd up 2 of the ribeyes and they were incredibly tough & chewy with gristle through out. So disappointing for a $20/lb piece of meat …. I have bought better at our local co-op meat market….

I picked up my meat order again today. I am very pleased. Very fresh and good products at a fair price. From ordering to pickup, everything went great. You can also get meat here that is not so well known. We are Germans and do a lot ourselves. thank you, see you next time.
