Trees 🌲 and trails and the major feature of the fantastic park. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to the beautiful park. It’s a nice drive to the heart of the park and there is plenty of parking. There are public washrooms with flush toilets. There is an interactive Nature discovery area for the kids. Picnic tables are available. Some easy trails and some a little more difficult. This is a great place.

Looking at google light pollution map this area is at a decent range, and the northern light was strong that night, that's where I choose to try my luck. It wasn't a really good when I parked at the gate @9 pm, Really bright spot light right at the door, and the strong smell was so bad. But I decide to put up the bad smell walk straight in. The result is decent.

Pepin Brook loop is a great trek to take your dogs as roughly halfway through you reach the off leash dog park. It's fully enclosed and has two large areas with walking paths, plus a smaller enclosed area for small dogs if there are too many large dogs around. Well maintained by staff; paths are cleared regularly so they are easy to traverse. Even paths that are wide, perfect for strollers or wheelchairs. Mind you there are a few big hills. Good for beginner to intermediate hikers. The only downside is that the park is close to 8th, so you can hear a lot of cars in some areas. There is also occasionally a bad smell in the air, either from the nearby farms or the swampy marsh area that Pepin Brook loop goes through.

We have a lot left to explore here. I'm not sure what it's like on a weekend, but during the week , the trails were near empty.

It's an amazing destress in nature. The trails are very well maintained from what we have seen so far perfect for family walking, but be warned ⚠️ some areas are a bit steep and could prove a challenge for the elderly or those with some mobility challenges.

Walking, biking, and horseback riding are all welcome here with plenty of room for everyone.

Your furry friends will love it. They have to be leashed in the majority of the park, but there is an off leash area for them to run around and make friends.

Trails are well marked, with frequent map way points 👉 so you will know where you are inside the park. In addition, they have washroom facilities (outhouses the wife's favorite..
😆) and plenty of space for picnics and disposal for hot BBQ coals.

Tons and tons of blackberry bushes all over the park, and the Big Rock trail promises a "Big Rock" we can confirm 👍 it is indeed a big rock.

All in all, so far, one of my favorite area parks, we will be back here often.

Gorgeous park full of trails, swamp, and even small waterfalls, all full of animal life. Surprisingly quiet people wise. There's plenty of parking available.

Edit: the park is so big! Found more trails and more things to see. Definitely a great place to return. Always something new to see.

The main trails are very functional for people with problems with knees or back they're centered their calm there's lots of sitting areas and there's lots to look at and take in. I found it invigorating to do the $9,477 steps of the trails in this area and thoroughly enjoyed the workout. Dogs are welcome but they must be on leash. Poop bags are provided if you need them. There's lots of areas for picnicking and I've even seen spots where horses can be tied up so it's definitely an outdoor area that you will sincerely enjoy.

I came tonight with a group of friends for the meteor shower. This park has two entrances we came to the one with the huge field and the large hill behind it. Beautiful park awsome view! Alot of people had there tents and telescopes set up there was food trucks. The main entrance goes down a large winding hill and over a bridge with a creek to a parking lot. Lots of picnic benches a large picnic area with a roof, there are bathrooms and lots of trails one leading to a pond, there is some nice landscaping in the middle of the park with a large sandy area. Definitely a nice place to bring the family.💯💯💚
