Rented canoes for our trip, they were delivered timely to Kiosk campground and were easy to portage.

Malcolm provided excellent customer service and arranged late night pickup for paddles and life jackets as we were running late.

The outfitter store has all camping essentials as well as souvenirs. Would definitely come back again!

We travelled from Ottawa to the Western side of Killarney to camp and needed a big three person kevlar boat to take my nephew camping. There was no where in Sudbury or Espanola to rent such a boat near where we launched into Killarney. Given this outfitter was along our way on highway 17 we figured we would ask about renting from them for this trip.

The outfitter was happy to let us take their boat to Killarney and accommodated a late after hours pickup and drop off.

The boat was in excellent condition and the interaction with the company was smooth pleasant.

First rate friendly staff/customer service. Reasonable rates great canoe rentals. As a first timer to lake Kiosk it was easy to plan with Algonquin North Wilderness Outfitters. Will use again.

We set up a shuttle for a Mattawa River trip from North Bay to Mattawa. The owner Nelson was great. Helpful in setting us up and ready for us when we arrived. We had to pull out early and they adjusted without any problems. I have dealt with other outfitters in the past but Algonquin North is by far the best! They know canoes and they know the water.

The best Outfitter we’ve ever worked with in over twenty years of paddling Algonquin, Temagami and even Alberta. Nelson was super helpful with terrific site advice and information. We rented two 16 foot canoes and they were in mint condition. The boats were waiting for us at the Kiosk out-in and his team met us four days later at the Brent put-out to shuttle us back to the Outfitter. Can’t wait to rent from them again summer 2026!

Fantastic people, accommodating, and great boat rentals. The seat on our canoe broke and they were able to provide us a different canoe to use for the remainder of our rental at no extra charge
