We contracted AM Group Exteriors to reside our home and separate garage. Although there were communication issues around the commencement of the project, everything once started, was excellent. The crew were wonderful: tidy, polite, punctual. They handled some unexpected issues and the finished job is amazing. We are very happy with the result and highly recommend AM Group Exteriors to anyone considering a new exterior.

Went to the Barrie Home show at Bradford Green house, and was looking for some help with my home renovation, and eavestrough was one of the jobs. Left my name and number at the show on Saturday, and got a call on Monday. Sye Ellard came by and took our measurements, and quoted us a price, after explaining the different colours, prices and options. He was pleasant, professional and not pushy at all, and after careful consideration we decided to go with his quote and options. The crew that came were very careful in removing the old eavestrough, and installed the new ones in no time at all, leaving my property clean and free of debris. Sye came by to check on if we were pleased with the work, and stated that if we needed anything at all from the installation to give him a call. I would recommend AM Group Exteriors for any Exterior job you would require.

The installers did great work! It was a complicated job to replace all the soffit, fascia and gutters. Lots of weird angles and pieces involved. Not to mention all the rain! They were respectful and good humoured. Took care not to wreck my plants and cleaned up everything afterwards. Very happy with their work. My only negative comment is that at no point has anyone from the company come to inspect the work and make sure everything was being done properly and/or finished to our satisfaction. Which is why we only gave 4 stars. Otherwise, we definitely recommend this company.

AM roofing, where to start....
Well I started with calling them for a new home I purchased to make sure my steel roof was all good and to quote new skylight installs.
After a 2 hour presentation that I had to go thru like a timeshare I was convinced that my attic needed to be insulated, new skylights needed to be done (a total of 4), attic venting needed to be done and then installing of snow stoppers.
Original bill was in the ballpark of 24g, a little steep but new home and wanted everything done properly.
I ended up going another route with the attic insulation as I wanted spray foam.
After the installation crew got here I was told the roof venting could not be done due to the strapping on the steel tiles.
So I had 4 skylights replaced and snow stoppers installed around the entire house..
Skylight started leaking almost instantly first winter as soon as there was some snow accumulation. They came back out and had a look, put more silicone or something.
Nope still leaking, they came back out a second time, did something else.
Nope still leaking, told now that it was condensation and that finishing the trim inside the skylight would fix the issue.
So now after paying to have skylights installed I have to rent scaffolding to finish their job on the inside 18 feet up. Guess what, still leaking.
And one of them is not straight.
Now the snow stoppers, 80% of them ripped rite off the roof first winter leaving massive holes in my steel roof large enough to get a finger into. They were just screwed into the thin metal tiles and nothing solid underneath.
Called them a few times and never returned my messages.
I finally called the installers personal phone and was told they would come out next week. That was 4 weeks ago.
They also damaged my brand new eaves through and left all the extra screws and trash in them.
I now have a water leak in my attic. Damaged trim with the skylights. And I keep buckets on the floor to catch the water leak to protect the hardwood floors. I have now had to ask another company to come out to replace all the damaged steel tiles.
I will be taking them to small claims court for the repairs and damages to the roof since they refuse to make this rite after chasing them for 2 years.
My roof looks terrible.
I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your roof replacement or repair. My roof and skylights are in worse condition now compared to the condition they were in prior to their work.

I would avoid using this company at all costs. I hired AM about one year ago. They gave me a quote to replace three roof windows as well as crank windows in the both a bathroom and a bedroom. And eaves on one side of an A Frame cottage. We gave them all the work except the bedroom & bathroom windows as I had gotten competitive quotes and theirs was much higher for the same spec. For the roof windows I didn't have much choice but to use AM as the window Manufacturer I wanted to use (Velux) suggested AM as the preferred installer. From the moment I got the quote from the Sales person the problems started. His quote was sent to me in a text. He was unavailable for follow up questions. The windows ordered and installed were not the same interior color as what we agreed to and what the the Sales person detailed in the contract. The roof windows were installed at randoms times with little notice. The Manager out of Owen Sound was entirely non-responsive to texts, emails or phone calls. His onsite installers were "not surprised' to hear this about him. After waiting many many months for the ad hoc installation to be completed - missing parts - and getting zero response from the Manager I reached out the VP of AM. What a joke. It took weeks for him to get back to me and when we finally connected by phone it was only minutes before he raised his voice to me. Zero apology for their lack of service. And now today - almost one year after I awarded the job to AM it remains incomplete and the VP doesn't return calls or emails. I give up. I will source another company to finish the job but I truly hope that if you are considering hiring this company you give it a strong second thought. My one regret is paying them almost the entire amount of the contract before the job was complete. Big mistake on my part.

Once again, AM Roofing Collingwood has installed a second roof on a property here in town. I was always impressed with the personality, roofing knowledge, problem-solving of sales person Dalton. He was very engaging, highlighted the situation with the roof, that required updating the material, that was under the shingles, that sales people from other roofing companies did not notice while they were doing their qualifying.

The install crew (lead by John) was very experienced, worked together as a team and got the job done with no issues. They were respectful of the neighborhood, made sure the old Billy material coming off. The roof was not thrown onto Neighbours property, and cleaned up very thoroughly once the job was done.

Vicki at the office was very good at communicating through email and the phone, Answering a few questions I had throughout the process.

I highly recommend AM Roofing.

AM Roofing Collingwood saved us this winter. Like many others, we have terrible ice dams on our roof, particularly around our skylights. We called AM because they did a great job on a new roof a few years ago. While clearing the snow and removing the dams, they found a small lake under the snow on a small portion of flat roof. They de-watered us and built channels so the melt will flow away properly. Very grateful for their timely work. We will be following up with them in the spring to assess our insulation needs.Thanks to Vicki, Adam and especially the crew.

Buyer Beware! This company does not stand by their products! $9,000.00 worth of new construction windows ordered and not one of them are of any use to me as they are all defective. Window corners were to be welded as shown on their website. Photos show Blue Ducttape covering each corner and also shows warping has started and most have not even been unwrapped! Buyer Beware!!
