I love Scott’s approach to working with horses. He imparts his knowledge for us to learn how to work with our own horses, how to overcome our fears and gain more confidence in our abilities. I wish I had found out about his clinics twenty years ago! It’s amazing to see the transformations in the horses from day 1 to day 4! I have had my young mare there for three different clinics, and we both have learned so much. I have also had my gelding and my older mare there for a clinic as well, with great results for each of them. It doesn’t matter how old your horse is or what discipline you practice, in my opinion, everyone can benefit from attending one of Scott’s clinics.

I participated in a clinic this November, and it was fantastic! Scott has extensive knowledge and is very insightful and patient. I was allowed to work with their horses, which I really appreciated. I can only recommend attending a clinic. Every day, is a great learning opportunity, where you will learn a lot about yourself, the horses, and your connection to them. Plus, the ranch's unique location is the cherry on top, making it the perfect place to attend a clinic and deepen your bond with your horse.

Amazing place!
Stayed in Chips Cabin which we found on Air BnB. Nice and quite, beautiful view from the cabin. Many horses! Well maintained property and cabin. Host encouraged us to walk around). Everything you need! 3 beds. A/C tons of outlets. We booked very last minute for a wedding and Leona (the owner) had everything you could need already in the bathroom (rasers, Qtips, soaps, lotions.) lots of plug-ins.
It's is a proper Air BnB with a stocked kitchen (including food/farm fresh eggs). Host was very gracious with our last minute booking. Very accommodating. Gave good directions.

Did do their riding programs but it's $90 which seems like an amazing deal.

11/10 would reccomend!

I have taken all of my horses, from a seasoned trail horse to a strong-minded Warmblood mare to a completely green two year old to work with Scott at various clinics including Trail Obstacles and Colt Starting. I learn something every single time, not only how to train for a specific issue but how my horses approach challenges and how to help them, as individuals. Scott is genuinely invested in what is best for each horse, without ego or breed-snobbery. Highly HIGHLY recommended.

Thanks for a great clinic Scott! This progressive clinic was exactly what my horse and I needed to start the summer trail riding off. Riding with you and Belle on the trail gave me a multitude of tools to work with when riding with a group. The facilities were great. It was helpful to watch others progress with their horses as well.

Scott has an incredible way of explaining difficult movements and breaking them into achievable steps, all while taking the horse’s needs into consideration. This seems to create a respectful and trusting relationship between the horse and rider. Scott’s positivity as well as the openness and the unpretentious environment of the clinics make it a very comfortable learning experience. Exceptional Experience at the Amazing Horse Country Ranch with Scott Phillips

I recently had the privilege of spending a memorable weekend at the Amazing Horse Country Ranch, engaging in a three-day one-on-one training session with Scott Phillips. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality and care shown by Scott and Leona were truly remarkable.

Instead of staying in my horse trailer, I opted for their bed and breakfast opportunity and booked the Bailey room. The accommodations were fantastic, complete with a continental breakfast and private bathroom. Scott and Leona ensured that my horse, Jazzy, had everything she needed, even going the extra mile to provide an area without ice.

I arrived with numerous questions and confidence issues, but by the end of the three days, Scott had helped me conquer some of my biggest fears with my horse. We even cantered in a hackamore, a feat I never thought possible.

Scott's approach to horsemanship is truly remarkable. He doesn't just teach a one-size-fits-all method; instead, he takes the time to understand you and your horse individually. Scott's dedication to learning what works best for both rider and horse sets him apart.

During the one on one, Scott breaks everything down, asking questions like, "How does your horse react when you do this? What about this?" He genuinely cares about your horse's well-being and ensures that every technique is tailored to them. It's all about finding what works and making adjustments along the way.

He provides you with homework and tools to try at home, ensuring that your progress continues beyond the one on one/Clinic. This level of dedication and support is truly invaluable.
