I first met Sheryl Law about 4 years ago, in the dog show world. Despite the fact we represent different breeds of dogs, we instantly became the best of friends. She has always been available to jump in and help other people and is very highly respected by all.
Sheryl’s love and passion, for the Doberman lineage that she promotes, is unwavering.
Sheryl is truly the definition of a responsible breeder. She is very knowledgeable on the Doberman Pinscher breed standard and how to produce beautiful, healthy puppies from the lineages available. Her dogs are competent in many venues that she can be found at.

In love with Ambermark dogs! Some of the most beautiful dogs with incredible drive, intelligence and personality!! If you are looking for that “ta da” type of personality in the show ring you will find it in Ambermark on top of having the intelligence and focus to be competitive in dog sports. These dogs will not only be your best friend but will shine in everything they do! Sheryl is a very very supportive breeder in all aspects and a genuinely good hearted person with a passion for breeding not only beautiful but also well rounded and healthy dogs.

I met Sheryl many years ago when we bought our second Ambermark puppy from Dave and Larrylyn McKay. Lager’s sire was the handsome “Sam” who lived with Sheryl. My husband was so impressed by Sam’s temperament, he knew we needed a puppy just like that. So we went to look at a black and tan Sam son, but a red boy had other plans. He picked Mark out and Lager would come home with us. Lager finished his Championship undefeated shown by myself but the universe had other plans. We lost Mark shortly thereafter and Lager became my therapist and best friend. Unfortunately he developed heart complications after a very serious round of bloat and we lost him before his eighth birthday. A couple years later Sheryl contacted me and asked me to come see her beautiful Jon Jon ex Posh litter. Once again there was a red boy I couldn’t take my eyes off. He was and old soul and after much consideration “Seger” came into my life. Seger and his sister Poppy sent us on a wild and crazy adventure!! Both puppies finished their Canadian Championships at 6 months of age with multiple group placements and Seger won BPISS to cap off his puppy career. As I was campaigning a sheltie in the US we decided to show the babies south of the border and had great successes there as well. The following year I finished my big red boy with spectacular BOS to the beautiful Wicked at a speciality in North Carolina. All owner handled. Sheryl took over his lead in Canada and in very limited showing put him in the top ten Dobermans in Canada and also added his CGN. He was the best boy and would do anything we asked him to do. Unfortunately as hard as he tried he couldn’t beat cancer. A very rare cancer cut his life short at 2.5 years. The adventure that this breed and specifically these two redhead pups took us on was unforgettable and forged a very special friendship with Sheryl and her stunning Ambermark dogs. Without Sheryl’s tenacity, strength support and knowledge, I wouldn’t have been able to move forward with this breed. But there is nothing like having a Doberman, so I am looking forward to seeing what the future brings…
