I can’t say enough good things about Humboldt Vet Clinic and especially, Dr. Kim. My dog Olive has been in a couple accidents that have needed urgent care. The staff got us in quickly and treated us with so much kindness. Dr. Kim was incredibly caring, thorough, and gentle with Olive — she explained everything clearly, reassured me when I was worried, and made sure Olive was comfortable every step of the way.

It’s never easy seeing your pet hurt, but the care and support we received here made all the difference. Olive got the stitches she needed and I left feeling confident she was in the best hands possible. I am so grateful for Dr. Kim and the whole team. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl. I highly recommend Humboldt Vet Clinic to anyone who wants their pets treated with genuine care and compassion.

Dr Nancy was amazing. My cousins cat was having issues urinating and our local vet was not taking emergencies and redirected us to Regina. Unwilling to drive 2 hours in the dark at 12am I opted to try this vet clinic as its less than an hour away and they had an after hours number. I explained everything on the phone, Dr. Nancy met us at the vet clinic and she was so amazing. Explained everything that was going on and what to expect in the future. Emergencies suck but I'm glad this clinic was able to help out!

Our dog was suffering from Diarrhea and vomiting. I called their after hours number (it was a Saturday) and got Dr. Kim H. She met me at the clinic and provided excellent care for our pet. Highly recommended

First a special thank you to Tina, due to extenuating circumstances we would not have been able to get our cat in to see the vet today. However the amazing team worked hard and made it possible. The team here deeply care about the animals in their care and are a great place to bring your furry family.

We had a terrible experience with the new male vet at the Humboldt animal clinic, our dog had quite a large tumour on his leg and was scheduled to have it removed. After his surgery and upon pickup we noticed only 7 sutures on the site that over half the length of our dogs leg, with spots in between the stitches that had already opened up. We questioned this but were sent on our way and was told it is fine. Two days later we brought our dog back as the wound had opened more and our dog was in visible pain. Again we were sent on our way with gauze to help clean up the blood and drainage. Over the weekend the majority of the wound opened up as we thought it would, and back to the vet we go. The male vet who did the surgery came out after we had been back for the 3rd time and told us this was our fault (even though we did follow post op instructions) and we clearly let this happen as his sutures were strong. When my husband disputed this saying we did everything we could to support our dogs healing and we even brought him back to address our concerns after 48 hours, the male vet then gave us attitude and told us that he was the vet, not us, he did nothing wrong and we weren’t the ones with years of schooling behind us. Upon hearing that, our dog was promptly brought to another vet, where he was given 24 hours of IV antibiotics to treat the open wound, and came home with over double the amount of sutures previously put in the site.

The gals at the clinic were amazing! They got my Cinnamon in on short notice and explained on the phone the steps they might have to take. They were very sweet and had her in and out in minutes. Cinnamon was cuddly and happy when I got her home, so I know they treated her well. Thanks so much!

I have been coming to the Humboldt vet clinic for over 5 years now with my 2 Senior dogs who are almost 16 & my absolute babies. They have had multiple surgeries (spaying, tumours, bladder stones, burst cysts & just last week a dental surgery removing 20 teeth) and I can say without a doubt, that both my dogs & myself have been treated with the utmost respect, kindness, & patience. I have had many long discussions with both Kim (Owner) and Nancy (Vet) about difficult situations happening with my girls & they have both worked with me to find the best solution, answering my questions & calming my nerves. On many occasions, they both have went out of their way to either call me or come into the clinic on their days off & weekends. They have treated me like family & given my dogs a safe place to be treated & recover; checking in on them day & night. I have been in the back of the clinic numerous times & it is professional & extremely clean. I am a very fussy person when it comes to customer service and the Ladies at the front desk have always been fantastic! Tina, Andra, Jayla, Myra, Don, Paige & everyone I’ve ever come into contact with has been amazing. They are always organized, caring & go out of their way to make appointments or food pick up convenient & easy. Also, the Vet Techs are awesome! They have taken the time to chat with me on numerous occasions. April is wonderful & Tammy; who recently performed the dental surgery on my 16 year old gal alongside Kim, took the time to go through all the steps of the surgery including X-rays & actual pictures of when my little girl was under anesthesia. Brittany kept in touch with me through text message throughout the whole 3 hour surgery. I truly appreciate the wealth of expertise, knowledge, years of experience & care that these woman have given my beloved animals. I have yet to meet the new male vet, but my husband has & had a great experience. Thanks a million!
