We brought our three dogs to stay here for a week and left with two. Gilbert was taken to the vet and had surgery for a twisted stomach. We know these things happen, but leading up to the incident I had asked for daily photos and updates. We were told gilbert had been eating all three dogs food. He is not aggressive at all and never has been, even with strangers. We gave instructions for feeding them and that gilbert can't eat more than his portions. If they saw Gilbert was eating all three portions I'm not sure why they didn't stop him. Prior to them telling us about the food they sent a picture of him and he had a small chunk of his nose cut. He had apparently been sticking his nose into the fence. Gilbert has always been the big lazy type and when he was left at other kennel places he never did anything like that. We gave them beds to sleep in but in all the photos there are no beds with them. All the photos will be posted here. Ambu, the small white dog, was cleaned and groomed the day before we dropped her off. The picture below was just two days after. Kiba, the border collie, looked absolutely terrified. Although this was Ambus first time at a kennel, Kiba and Gilbert have gone quite few times. They never made faces like that. They were both so happy and we had videos of them playing with the other dogs and wagging their tails. They then emailed us at the end to settle up with the vet before we came to them to pick up Kiba and Ambu. I guess the charges would be on then if we didn't do it first. It was like they were holding our other two dogs as hostages until we paid the vet bill. Gilbert died the 3rd day in and when we picked them up they offered no sympathy and didn't even apologize. Instead they took advantage of our grief and charged us the full amount for all three dogs. When the two girls came home with us, they were timid and hid from us. They would run and hide even we just said, "Wait, no, stop." They did not wag their tails and ask for attention for days after. All three dogs went the vet and couple days before their booking. All three healthy, and the vet was even impressed with Gilbert's health given his breed and age. All three are such happy dogs and spend all day with us and even go with my dad to work and socialize with other dogs. This was absolutely devastating. Save your dogs and save your money. Find another place.

Cats were well cared for. This was our first time boarding cats, as this was an emergency situation. They helped us out on short notice and were nothing but kind to us.

We take two of our dogs here consistently, and they're always so excited when we pull into the parking lot. There are lots of options in terms of care, like walks, grooming, play time, and more. Definitely a great place to take the pups.

We took our fur baby there in March to stay with them the whole month as we were visiting our family in South Africa. Now.. This was the first time we would leave her so long, I am a control freak so it took alot of me to come to terms that she will be staying somewhere else. I was crying like a baby when we dropped her off. They assured me they will take good care of her and THEY DID!!! I just want to say thank you to Holly and the Artistic Acres team and also to Natalie for sending me so many pictues, looking after our fur baby and dealing with my craziness!! Will definitely take her back there!! You guys are awesome!!!

I left Freya with Artistique Acres Pet Resort for 2 very long nights. It was the first time she was away from me for that length of time and I was very nervous and over protective. Upon arrival, we met the owners and were escorted in to the kennel area with a smile and friendly chatter. I truly had nothing to worry about! It's such a beautiful place with very caring owners and staff. I will have no problem leaving her there again. Alexis went above and beyond to get a picture of my happy pup sent to me despite her shift being over and I'm sure, sensing my urgent need to know Freya was ok. Great place!

Awesome kennel! First time booking with Artistique Pet Resort. Great experience. Super accommodating and helpful when we got stuck on our trip and couldn’t get home for 3 extra days. Was wonderful picking up dogs and they both had received baths that morning. Could tell they had lots of attention as they were more excited to see the Kennel workers than they were us after a week of being away! Wonderful place! Will definitely be booking again when we need kennel services. Thank you!! 🙂
