BC Plant Health Care Inc. Highly recommend! These folks took care of us from the beginning to end! Assessed our concerns, obtained the permit from the city of Surrey for tree removal. Service's provided once the permit was approved, tree removal and stump grind. Cleanup, respecting my neighbors and surrounding area. Highly professional and would recommend.

We've trusted our plant maintenance with BCPHC for a number of years and have always been impressed with their service and professionalism. We had out-of-the-norm request for a couple of 'tree rounds' (sections of trunk). This request was quite outside the box and we considered it a bit of a long shot when making it. Anna's prompt and positive response along with their locating and delivery of the 4 rounds was greatly appreciated. This was above and beyond their normal excellent service.

Today had BC Plant Health Care come out to bring a new Earth Day garden bed, to add to my existing raised beds. This is the third time we have used the company's services. As usual, they were on time (early actually), were cheerful & professional. They did a beautiful job leveling, lining, and filling the bed. They cleaned up everything after, and were so great to deal with, all in the pouring rain. There may be slightly less expensive options, but the staff are professionals who know what they are doing, and have the background & schooling to do it properly and safely. You get what you pay for. Also, in my view, if the public took a few moments to communicate their needs better, be kind, and friendly, they might be very surprised at how much easier things can be.

The good - Came promptly to do the assessment. Andrew came out and was friendly, knowledgeable, insightful. The on-line system to book that appt was easy to use.

The mediocre - I had to book 3 weeks out (which was fine) but there was no day before confirmation or touch-base. I was also not told what time of day they would arrive. I called to ask that when they arrive to give me a call as I wanted to explain a few finer details and ask if they could do one little job (on the side for cash). No phone call and only realized the job was done when I arrived home. My experience with other home services is usually so much better than this. It seemed expensive to me - $ 500 to knock off 3 tall branches and clean it up.

One question I still have outstanding.... They topped my tree and the cuts they made are completely perpendicular. The only thing I know about tree pruning is that you don't make straight across cuts otherwise water will pool in the 'cut' and cause rot or fungus growth. I've asked them about this and got no response.

Not saying I won't use them again, but I will seek an alternative company for the next prune to see if that experience is any better/cheaper.

I have used BC Plant Heath Care a couple of times now on our property and have been very pleased. Both times the jobs that needed done were significant and I was impressed with how efficient & professional the guys on site were. I would use them again and recommend this company to anyone looking to get any tree work done.
