very unhelpful, my cat was surrendered by a neighbour (who knew he was mine) and was later put up for adoption. when I called to see what I could do to get him back they told me there was zero record of him ever being there even though he was actively up on the website for adoption. I even provided his tattoo number and said I had all of his documents and medical history however they insisted he was never brought in.
very disappointed with the entire experience and I miss my baby very much.

no one has contacted me to say THANKYOU for the donations I gave. They don't have the courtesy to inform me of the two conure birds I had to give up.. they don't answer their phones and have not answered their phones after calling there 3 or 4 times of which I feel is rude. Are all SPCA like that ?

UPDATE—we have since adopted another kitty to add to our family and again had a wonderful experience with Kamloops SPCA, and we also participated in the “Lock-in for Love” fundraiser and they were awesome!

Feb 2023: We had an excellent experience with the warm and friendly staff at Kamloops SPCA. We adopted a kitty who we adore and has fit into our family perfectly. We were also very impressed with the facility—super clean, large, and bright, with lots of toys etc for the animals awaiting their furever homes. Would have loved to have brought them all home. Special thanks to Christy who gave us lots of info and advice. Bless you all.

Life just gets better every time you adopt another pet. Huxley was rescued from an unfortunate situation. Her and her 12 littermates all had congenital megaesophagus. Some were starving and had to be euthanized. Huxley was one of the lucky ones and lives her days as a pretty normal pup, besides eating a liquid diet in a handcrafted chair. Everyone at the Kamloops SPCA cares so much about every animal they encounter.

We've adopted three cats from the spca in Kamloops. Every time has been wonderful with kind people working with us all the way. Visiting there is such fun; the cats are essentially free therapy and it's so uplifting seeing the cats get the star that says Approved Application!

Please support the spca when you can. Animals can't speak for themselves and they deserve the best life we can give them.

My 4 month old kitten "Dusty" was in for the third visit yesterday. The ladies all treated her like a little princess.
