I found Beacon Landscaping on Craiglist which is my first attempt with such search of professionals, and I can't believe how lucky I was! Connor and his team helped me change a large garden which was always plagued by the massive roots from a huge maple tree at the corner of the garden into a beautiful rock garden! They transplanted plants and placed rocks following my particular instructions and at the same time provided me with their professional ideas. They were patient and hard working and I can't be more pleased to see the transformation of my garden! Connor also resealed the flagstones where I have been troubled by the weeds growing in between stones.

I would not hesitate to recommend Beacon Landscaping to anyone that thinks of garden work big or small. Connor and his team would be back to prune the huge maple tree which I never thought was possible. I am so looking forward to it!

Connor and his team built the retaining wall for our yard. They were very efficient, professional, hardworking and pleasant to work with. What can we say about this company - from the initial consult to the finish product phenomenal! Connor took the time with us to discuss products, design, and time frame. Connor's knowledge, work ethic and professionalism is outstanding. There was a delay, not due to Beacon, but the electrical upgrade and Connor worked with us to mitigate the delay. Once the upgrade was completed the project restarted and the end result was beyond our expectations.

After retaining a landscape architect to re design the front yard of our Vancouver home, we proceeded to search out a landscape firm to complete the work. The project encompassed removing all existing shrubs and grass, and including a great deal of the poor quality existing soil. The new plan included adding good quality garden soil, and soil to enhance the growth of the new laid sod, as well as planting new scrubs, and building new concrete and gravel walkways, and all outlined by treated wood borders and topping all new gardens with black mulch material.
When reviewing a couple of quotes, we decided not to take the least expensive quote , but retain the firm that we felt would complete the work to our satisfaction. We therefore settled on Beacon Landscaping to complete the work .
I was firstly delighted when the crew arrived on the time and date promised. I was also impressed that the owner of the company, Connor, was a part of the crew and just not a project manager.
The work was completed within the timeframe proposed, and within the price quoted.
The icing on the cake is the work completed by Connor and his staff, was beyond the quality I expected and included all final small details.
I would certainly retain or recommend Connor and Beacon Landcaping for any future landscaping requirements.
