Endroit incroyable! Tour super sympathique avec le propriétaire. Magnifique vue et très bons vins à prix raisonnable! À voir et goûter! On nous a même fait le tour en français, un gros merci!

Bear River est une destination à ne ma manquer !!
L accueil très chaleureux en français à été complété par une visite des vignes et des locaux et par une dégustation accompagnée des commentaires passionnés et passionnant du propriétaire.
Les vins sont très agréables .Des bouteilles avec des bouchons de liège!
Si BearRiver n était pas aussi éloignée de la France nous viendrions plus souvent

C’était vraiment un beau moment passé en compagnie de Darin, vraiment sympa qui nous a même parlé en français! Il nous a vraiment bien expliqué leur procédé de vinification et d’assemblages. Nous avons goûté à des vins excellents dans une ambiance champêtre et un cadre magnifique.

After an unfortunate reception more than a decade ago, we were delighted with a brilliant welcome from the new owner (who purchased the winery in 2017) and from more of the staff.
The overlook on the vineyard is fantastic. The varieties on offer are numerous and the flights were interesting and delicious.
There is obvious knowledge, experience and effort in this venue and this local, farm winery should be supported. We will be buying some boxes next.

Stunning vineyard, delicious wine, delightful owners. This winery is in such a beautiful area, you get great views of the valley, lovely spots to sit overlooking the vineyard. The owners, Darren and Sue, are so warm and welcoming and so happy to tell you about their wines. The other employees (especially Sarah and Gregory) are delightful and super knowledgeable. When you arrive, employees are happy to give you a tour of the winery and to offer you a tasting. Lots of delicious wines to choose from - my personal favourite is the Rose Eh. Love that the artwork on the bottles is done by local artists! A must visit spot in Bear River.

Incredible Experience 🤩🤩 Bear River Vineyard is a truly remarkable destination. This family owned vineyard is nestled in a stunning location, offering breathtaking views of the plantation and the lush green valley. Visited it on our trip from Digby to Keji park, the drive itself was amazing.

Despite not having scheduled any tour, the incredibly friendly owners welcomed us warmly and graciously allowed us to explore the farm.

Walking through the grape plantation and seeing the beautifully maintained garden was an absolute delight.

There were other plants as well - blueberry, raspberry, peach trees n a small pond with lots of lotus flowers. Also there is a very relaxing spot at the center of the field under the tree shade with few chairs, almost slept in few minutes 😄

Saw people visiting for their scheduled tours.
Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful and scenic place to visit, Bear River Vineyard is a must-see.

Wow, what a terrific spot. We stayed for two nights in July 2022 and couldn't be more satisfied. There is a single unit in a part of the winery and it is very comfortable with a large bathroom and nice sized bedroom with great views of the vineyards.
And now the wines, they too are very good also at a good price point. We were given a delightful tour by Sue, one of the owners, of this historic cow barn that was converted into the winery. Each of the lovely wine labels was created by a local artist. All the people we met were very friendly and cheerful.
Also, a number of the building in the 'town' of Bear River is built on stilts because of the tidal waters of the Bay of Fundy.
I highly recomme staying here for a peaceful getaway.

Update: Quite often when you are tasting wine at a winery you think it is great and buy some, then when you actually open one of the bottles later on you think how could I possibly think this was OK. Well in the case of Bear River wines we just opened a bottle about 10 days later and it was as excellent as when we tasted at the winery. Cheers 🍷
