Would definitely recommend and go back. Customer service was really good. So nice that they can cook the food for you, takes around 15min. Great selection of marinated meats. We tried a bunch and they were all great! The lemon & tandoori were my favorite so far. My mom said the hot wings were the best she ever had! I don't eat spicy food,but even I had a bite since they smelt so good! And the bargin veggie bin is awesome! Seems like a nice independent Grocery store for the neighborhood.

This was a pleasant surprise. During a weekend trip exploring Surrey, I stumbled upon this gem of an Indian grocery store. I was caught to have found such a new take and interpretation of the small cultural market experience. The product selection was broad, unique, with tons of Indian items that I’ve never seen before. The most surprising encounter was the marinated Indian proteins in the back. What a treat! All kinds of marinated meats were ready for take out to cook at home, or quick grill behind the counter for a fun snack at the drop of the hat. Yum! Jazz, the gentleman behind the counter, was a great host, and even showed me Indian spices and flavors new to me that I would bring home to my own kitchen. Come visit the Bug Meat Shop.! With a nice staff managing such an organized and wonderful store, I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

We have been coming here since July and haven’t looked back. This is now our go-to meat shop. It’s great quality meat (both chicken and mutton) and our favourite bbq flavours are the honey garlic (so good!), buffalo and peri peri. They also cook the marinated meats for you and this is extremely helpful, especially if you have kids at home. 🙂

Amazing customer service. The best recommendation we have ever had for meats in Surrey. No other location compares. Try their chicken kebabs. They can even cook them in store!
