We absolutely loved black barn! Madeleine, Annalise, and Aaron are fantastic! The venue was my absolute dream wedding if I could do it all over again we would!! I got everyone complimenting on how awesome the venue is and people even said it was the nicest wedding they ever been to. Kids had fun too! They have the most beautiful venue ever!!!!

Our wedding at Black Barn was beyond amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous—there’s this perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance, and the views are just breathtaking.

What really made the day so easy and stress-free, though, was the Black Barn team. They were so organized and on top of everything, handling all the details so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. From the planning stages to the big day, everything went off without a hitch, which meant we could just relax and enjoy ourselves.

We had the best time and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. If you're looking for somewhere beautiful with incredible service, this place is a must!

We had a phenomenal experience at Black Barn! Everything ran so smoothly (huge shoutout to Aaron, the day of coordinator for making this possible) and the venue itself was absolutely gorgeous.
One thing that sets Black Barn apart is that there were separate getting ready areas for the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

My daughter was married here on August 9, 2024.
I was extremely happy with the Venue! It is beautiful and offers a Bridal "get ready room" and a "grooms garage", both of which added so much to the day! The setting for the reception is stunning! The indoor/outdoor areas are well planned.
Most of all, I appreciate how our wedding organization was managed by Aaron. Despite the fact that he repeats his work over and over - I was genuinely awed by how he listened to my daughter and made things happen and look according to HER idea of her perfect day. His interactions with her left me the impression that SHE was his only bride to please this summer!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue. And would add that the wedding party and immediate family all stayed at THE WILLOW INN in Wetaskwin. It is 30 minutes away and on the edge of Wetaskwin leading to the Black Barn.
The combination of these two places made for a picture perfect weekend!

We got married at Black Barn in August 2023 and it was a wonderful experience! This is a family-owned business and that is what makes it special. Everything went so smoothly and Madeleine was so easy to work with! We used Aaron's day of coordination services and it was the absolute BEST use of money. He helped us so much with planning ideas in the months leading up and step up and coordination the day of. I kept thinking I needed to be more involved and helpful but it was already all taken care of. I truly had no stress the day of and that is all due to Aaron and his team taking care of everything. Overall, we had the best day and the Black Barn team was fantastic. Our guests had the best time and still comment on how beautiful and well run the venue was. Could not recommend enough!

ABOVE & BEYOND is how I would describe our experience with the Black Barn venue. We had our wedding in September 2022 and from the moment we first contacted Madeleine to the wedding day, they have gone above and beyond in all aspects to make our day special. After conducting research on all of the venues in the Edmonton area, the Black Barn stood out to us because they offered more than just a venue, they offered an experience. From the four hours of complimentary wedding planning, to prompt communication, and the immense amount of extra services included in the price we had to go with Black Barn. Aaron, the day of coordinator did most of the decorating with such an eye for perfection and class, the bartenders that we hired from them were creative and made fun cocktails and shots for all of our guests, the bridal suite was gorgeous and filled with natural light, and they even had coffee made for us upon our arrival in the morning. We wanted a champagne tower right after our ceremony, and Aaron had everything ready for us. Throughout the evening they made sure the space was tidy and helped our DJ transition to the patio for our first dance. For those guests who didn’t want to dance inside the barn, they brought out portable fire towers so that they could relax on the patio. At the end of the night, they cleaned up everything, stacked our extra alcohol and even boxed up leftover decor that could be reused. With the Black Barn, they will make your vision a reality. My husband and I live in British Columbia, and had to plan our wedding from one province over. It was an absolute breeze because of working with the Black Barn. We can not recommend them enough. The venue is full of beautiful landscaping, a classy patio, elegant decor and wonderful staff.

We got married at Black Barn in July. Aside from the venue being absolutely gorgeous, Aaron, Andrew, Madeleine and the rest of the Black Barn team were amazing to work with. The team is incredibly accommodating; they went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing day, and made sure it went as seamlessly as possible. We had a 2 hour consultation with Aaron during the planning stages. He was very insightful and helpful when planning the meticulous details that go into making your day special.
