We had the best experience doing a tasting here on February 15th. There were 3 of us and we all did the Frenzy tasting. Riley was OUTSTANDING; it’s evident that he took the time to really understand everything that went into the wine. He explained the growing process, factors that influenced the wine, and detailed tasting notes. One wine I wanted to taste (their Chablis styled Chardonnay) wasn’t being tasted that day, but Riley still brought it out for me, it really elevated my experience. He went above and beyond, and even gave a side by side comparison of two Cabarnet Francs. I’d come back just to do another tasting with him (and for the wine of course). Add this winery to your next wine tasting outing.

I wasn’t familiar with this winery when it was recommended by A Grape Experience for our tour, but what an awesome place. The wines were excellent and our tasting experience held outside at the picnic table beside the vines enjoying the stunning views was perfect. Loved hearing about the bird the winery is named after. The view was beautiful, and I now have a few new favourite wines, with the coolest names, like Screaming Frenzy?! Love it! Love this winery!

Awesome winery, awesome wine and an awesome manager, Grayson. Always loved the wines under the Black Swift label from The Hatch, but now even more that it has its own location and more wines! Located just a couple minutes off the highway so really no excuse not to check it out.

Many thanks to the good people at the Black Swift for a fantastic tasting experience. The grounds are beautiful and modern yet set in a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and truly seem to be enjoying themselves. Bonus points for the seated tasting experience, you definitely never feel rushed or hurried in any way, just good vibes to enjoy the wine. And the wine…. Fantastic, 5/5, a must visit when you are anywhere near Kelowna.

Unreal. So stunning, INCREDIBLE wine, so full of flavour. Amazing knowledgable service as well, we had such a friendly sommelier in Jessie. What a hidden gem.

We are here for "Hangover Church", mimosa's and brunch!
Beautiful view and atmosphere!
The brunch (or communion if you like) was a foot long hot dog covered with beans, bacon, eggs and chips. Yes, there was wine along with a mimosa involved as well.

A very relaxed experience trying out new wines with a lovely view from West Kelowna overlooking the lake. Roman was the Black Swift rep who introduced us too their various offerings beginning with a bubbly wine, followed by a Chardonnay, Syrah, Cab Franc. They were still very good. Our purchase was a Chardonnay and two Reds. Total cost 190.00. They are of part of the JPC group consisting of a couple of wineries: Black Swift, the Hatch, Crown and Thieves); a cider house (Truck 59); and a brewery (The Hatching Post which also has some great smoked food offerings). The reason I mention these other establishments is they offer a self guided tour so for a reasonable price, one gets to check out all of the establishments. Check out their website for more info. The facility is accessible friendly.
