As a tourist, I regret so much going to SABA cafe across the street. Blacksmith Bakery is so much better. The croissants are bigger than my face. It’s crispy and full of layers. The pastry looks professionally made and taste delicious. Most importantly, their hot food options are really good too. Good sandwiches, good soup.

Come here instead of SABA.

The most amazing salted maple latte I've ever had! Such a great flavour combination and the coffee was smooth and creamy. We also tried the bread and butter pudding croissant which was delicious. Came on a Sunday afternoon and the line was out the door but worth it for the latte. Lots of seating outside and inside.

Ordered Truly Chocolate Cake & Lemon Meringue Tart on my recent visit. I love them both.
Was gonna try the croissants, but unfortunately saw flies in the open shelf.
Latte was good, too. Bought a pack of coffee beans before leaving. 🙂
If the bakery is much closer to my home, I will definitely come visiting often.

It was such a lovely place, right? Tons of cakes and pastries, and not too pricey. Had a great time, really. Only thing was, it was a bit stuffy inside – smelled like fried food.

It is an utter pleasure to write this review, still enchanted by such discovery. In rain and generally a miserable winter weather encountering this gem of café counts as a double blessing. The place is deceivingly small until you discover the second 'back' part of the café. The decor is kept elegantly to minimal and yet it doesn't feel bare but rather home-y and inviting. However, the most exciting part is (as expected from a café) the food on offer. In a simple sentence - the pastries are amazing. Baked at the location, fresh from the oven (no, don't think those warmed-up eternally 'fresh' pastries from Starbucks!) and far cry from those over sweetened bakery goods to find everywhere else. We tried the fresh berries tart and the Kouign Amann, which seemed to be a cross between a mille-feuille dough and a croissant, baked to perfection with a hint of cinnamon, on top crispy and inside deliciously warm. Thank you for making our trip to Fort Langley so special and I can guarantee it wasn't our last one!

Fantastic bakery! Everything tastes fresh and delicious! 😋. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Also a very nice patio.

Such a lovely place. Had a vanilla latte and the eggs benedict, and they were both delicious.

The Cobb salad is expensive but worth it. They don’t skimp out on the bacon and it’s epic. Would recommend this and their sausage roll as well.
