A delicious coffee with a view! I loved checking out Blacksmith Bakery at the Langley airport. Quick service. The staff made my iced caramel macchiato with beautiful presentation. I had a nice seat outside and got to watch the airplanes go by. They also have some nice looking sandwiches on the menu I will have to try next time!

I stopped by on a Sat afternoon around 4 PM. The two female staff members seemed more focused on chatting with each other than helping me. I tried to order a shrimp croissant sandwich, but was told they only had two options left (Mediterranean and another one). It made me wonder, why keep the café open until 7 PM if most items are already sold out by mid-afternoon? I thought this cafe had a good reputation. Their explanation didn’t feel convincing, and overall it came across as if they weren’t interested in being there. I know people who would be so grateful to have this job and provide bare minimum customer service and sadly this is the state of people working in cafes lately. They do. not. care.

Fancy snacks to enjoy. Especially while having a very nice coffee. Hot chocolate was also extremely good. Friendly staff, sadly, atmosphere was pretty cafeteria style. Nice seats and a view of the planes. Some seating outdoors, as well as inside.

I frequent the Latimer Village location and love it. This was my first time at this location and they held true to their name. The food menu is limited (in comparison to Latimer) but there are still a number of really good options.

We had the vegan miso tofu bowl and the egg salad croissant. The egg salad croissant was delicious! Probably one of the best I've had. The tofu bowl was good overall but there are some things that I'd change, if I had the option. Because it's a cold bowl, I don't think the noodles that they used were the best option. Vermicelli served cold tends to be too firm, so it feels like it's not cooked or under cooked.

The location is great. You can have your coffee and watch the planes take off. They have a few small tables in the Cafe, but there plenty of space in the airport to enjoy your meal.
There's a patio space outside as well, weather permitting.

They have highchairs and entertainment for the littles (crayons, books, and a few little toys).

The staff were friendly and very efficient. It was quite busy but everything seemed to run so smoothly.

Very good bakery inside the airport. A satellite store of the main one in fort langley. Delicious baked goods and drinks. Highly recommend. Will return again. Very high quality baked goods to die for.

Coffee is amazing. They do the best DRY cappuccino. The only place in Langley that does it properly I find. I also love the honey they sell. Bakery treats are good. I wish there were a few more healthier treat options but when I want to indulge in a chocolate cookie this is the place I come! Cookies are sooo good.

Always plenty of seating since you can use the airport lounge area and outdoor patio. Overall neat atmosphere and very kid friendly. There’s lots of room for young ones to move around safely while moms enjoy coffee. Plus there are kids books available and airplanes to watch!

I love Blacksmith. I love their drinks, pastries and food selection honestly. I noticed some cute totes and other mech that I’m thinking of gifting for friends. Unfortunately, it’s always the same subpar experience in this location so I never expect much. I ordered a shrimp salad sandwich, a brownie, a matcha latte and 2 ham and cheese croissants (to give with coworkers). A bunch of tables were dirty so I cleaned one off to enjoy my lunch. It was not busy. There was one person who ordered after me in the 20 mins I was there. Everything I got was solid expect the sandwich. I tried eating it because I hate wasting food but all I could taste was the grains of excessive salt. It tasted like I drank from the salt shaker directly. When I asked for a new sandwich, the person working there said “it’s supposed to have seasoning”. After I told her I’ve actually have ordered this sandwich before.. she then agreed to make me a new one. Anyway, I’m grateful she was nice enough to make a new sandwich but I’ll definitely and purposely avoid this location.

Excellent coffee, very attentive service and the way you like your coffee. The butter crossiants are amazing, as well as all the desert. I've tried many. Nice laid back atmosphere, plenty of room to sit, nice view to the airport runway, nice cosy chairs in the airport lobby. Clean and modern atmosphere.
