Our 1st taste of working with Bonsai. Fun evening that went faster than expected. The team was very engaging and able to answer all the questions we had. The store has some beautiful samples for inspiration.
We are happy with our 1st try. Will consider adding or making more bonsai in the future.

Originally visited this store Oct. 21 to help my best friend pick out a Juniper Bonsai for her father for Christmas, and I was to be the one who cared for it until then.
Nicolas the Bonsai Guru helped us choose a Bonsai and also shared a lot of great knowledge during our visit. Unfortunately, I had run into some issue with this Bonsai and contacted Nicolas immediately. The after sales service was amazing, he and I walked through what I did/didn't do and he helped me so much.

I highly recommend visiting and talking with Nicolas all about Bonsai, and succulents and cacti!

They have a lovely selection of Bonsai, succulents, and cacti. I now have a new interest in Bonsai!!! Thank you so much for everything - here are the happy bonsai and the lil cactus I got!

Wow! We asked Bonsai Ottawa for a personalized workshop to help us with bonsai that we’d successfully nurtured for 5 years. How do we keep them healthy? Help us repot and wire for the future, etc.
We spent a wonderful, interesting, and insightful 2 hours with their bonsai guru Nicholas. We came away with repotted and refreshed trees! And a third, new to us, bonsai that we could not resist! Highly recommend…learning from YouTube is great, but nothing beats in-person hands-on education!

What a lovely experience here. Stopped in out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised by the grace, kindness, and courtesy of staff. Nicholas was extremely informative and well-versed as his knowledge was vast in regards to bonsais. Taking the time to explain all of the different varieties, care instruction and store offerings, I would highly recommend anybody in search of bonsai‘s to make this their first stop shop. Will no doubt be a returning customer.

I went in to Bonsai Ottawa to buy equipment to trim my son’s bonsai without realizing the challenges involved. I decided to schedule a private lesson with Nicolas who shared his expertise and turned a wild looking bonsai into a work of art! I also bought myself a nice Shefflera to match! I also brought in my succulents so that they could have a ‘facelift’! I am completely amazed by the results! The before and after pictures say it all!
