This was the most magical and calming experience! My family and I had a wonderful time at Brae Ridge Farm & Sanctuary. More than that, Penny was an absolute star! She was super knowledgeable and kind. You could tell these animals were so loved and cared for deeply! Each and every animal had a personality and it was so lovely to experience! Her farm was spacious and clean. Would 100% come back again!

We from The Elliott Community had the pleasure of visiting Brae Ridge Farm with our volunteer team for the Alpaca Experience, and it was truly a memorable day. Penny is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. It’s refreshing to see someone so deeply connected to her space and animals.

The farm itself is a peaceful haven, where alpacas, ducks, horses and other animals live together in quiet harmony. It's clear that every part of the property has been thoughtfully cared for, creating an environment that feels both grounding and inspiring.

My family and I had the most wonderful time yesterday at Brae Ridge Farm and Sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, Penny warmly welcomed us. Her kindness, knowledge, and genuine love for her animals made the entire experience truly unforgettable.
The farm is peaceful and beautifully maintained, a perfect setting for connecting with nature and the sweetest animals you could ever meet. Penny introduced us to each one by name and shared their unique stories, making it feel personal and special. You can tell each animal is loved and cared for intensely—watching my daughter interact gently with them was a joy.

We had an amazing visit with Penny at Brae Ridge Farms. We celebrated an adult friends birthday. Penny is so knowledgable and passionate about all the farm animals and we learned so much. Yoga with alpacas was a special experience and the felting workshop capped off an incredible afternoon. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone - no matter the age.

I brought my friend here as a surprise for her birthday because she loves alpacas and it ended up being such a special experience for both of us. The moment we stepped onto the farm, we felt completely at ease. The owner Penny is incredibly warm, welcoming, and so passionate about her animals. You can tell how much she genuinely cares.

The alpacas were absolutely adorable and so gentle. We loved getting to meet each one and learning about their personalities and stories. The entire place has such a peaceful, comforting vibe, it was the perfect way to slow down and connect with nature.

We left with full hearts, happy memories, and a newfound love for alpacas. Thank you for sharing your beautiful sanctuary with us. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful visit and it's so true about Alpacas they take away any negative energy and leave you only with positive Vibes! Definitely will visit again. Penny is so caring with the animals and feathered duck friends and her guests. Left feeling made new friends. One of my highlights this summer. Thanks again Penny not just for sharing this special Farm and Sanctuary but for caring for those animals that may have been left behind. Now they can live out their days in pure joy and you see it in how they interact wit the guests. Love Walnut he may not want cuddles but he has such a personality!

What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon!

The farm is in a beautiful location, and is kept as neat as a pin for all the animals!

The host was so welcoming and knowledgeable! She introduced every alpaca, duck, pig, and horse by name, and with a brief description of their history and connections. We learned a lot about alpacas, and spent a lot of time walking among them, feeding them. You can really sense the owner's passion and commitment to these beautiful, calm (and 'calming') animals! 🦙🦙🦙
