We cannot say enough amazing things about British Elite Cattery and the experience we’ve had with Alexandra herself! We have been fortunate enough to welcome three of our beautiful British Shorthair cats—Fiona, Teddy, and little Eloise—into our family, and they are truly the lights of our life. These kitties are not only stunningly gorgeous with their big green eyes and adorable chubby cheeks, but they also have the most loving and sweet personalities.
We’ve even had the privilege of visiting Alexanra's home, and let me tell you, the level of care and attention she provides to her cats is beyond extraordinary. Her home is immaculate, and every single one of her cats is treated like royalty. It is so apparent that these babies are her pride and joy. The love she pours into each kitten is unmatched, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our little ones came from such an amazing start in life.

When you pay a premium price for a cat, you expect a premium cat. We purchased our cat over a year and a half ago and this is what we were sold. Eyes constantly tearing black mucus. Tongue sticks out. Bottom jaw is malformed and the bottom teeth stick out. Our vet even said the cat we purchased is "a malformed mutant". The vet also said that surgery for the bottom teeth is very likely.
We were told by the breeder the day we bought the cat that if there are any malformations or health issues with the cat that she would make it right. We reach out to her and she refused.
All the pictures of her cats showcase beautiful cats. The cat we were sold is not that. Very disappointed!

The day we purchased the cat we asked you why the cat's eyes were tearing so much and if would be long lasting. You assured us that it would not be long lasting and would end as the cat grew. You informed us the the cat's father also had teary eyes as a kitten and stopped as it grew. This has not been the case with the cat we purchased from you and we clean the cat's eyes multiple times a day.
In regards to the jaw, we took the cat to our vet the week we bought it. Two veterinarians saw the cat that day and said the same thing about the jaw and the teeth. My spouse is also a dentist and noticed the malformations. That same visit the vet found the cat had ringworm. So in less than a week of ownership we are informed by the vet that the cat which we just paid a premium for has a malformed jaw, bottom teeth that stick out and will likely need surgery to remove and has ringworm. How would you feel if this was you? You seem to imply that the environment we put the cat in resulted the cat's malformations. Would be interested to hear your theories on this considering we had owned the cat for less than a week. You sell cats, and in our case, the cat you sold us was malformed.
Take a look at our cat's picture and ask yourself if that cat is the one you would want as the face of your company?
We sat at your table and you shook our hands with your assurance that if there were any malformations or health issues that you would make it right. What happened with that?
We were looking at many great cat breeders in Canada and in the US. We were even strongly considering breeders in Europe. We decided to go with you and that has proven to be a huge mistake. My spouse had always wanted a British Short hair and has been very disappointed in what we ended up with.

We just welcomed our little girl home from British Elite Cattery.After being scammed couple times we finally met one of the best and reputable breeders in Canada.Whole experience from the beginning of the interview to picking up our kitten has been very positive.
