A nice cozy place but definitely struggling with space crunch due to the hype.

Barring the space to place yourself, everything on the menu is a must try.

We had the garlic cheese n chives danish with oat flat white for a sweet n savory combo.

This was followed by their breakfast muffins, which, in all honesty was just ok.

The margarita focaccia was surprisingly good. A must try.

Recommend going sooner than you expect the crowd to be low.

We also took home a loaf of their classic bread. 🙂

Brodflour is a small bakery-cafe tucked away on the West most side of liberty village.
I got a pain Suisse on a Sunday morning, and it was super busy with a lineup running through the entire bakery, but it moved fast.

My general comments:
- practically perfect product
- very expensive
- fast and bare minimum service
- far from downtown core
- limited seating

The pastry I got was very high quality, I could see the vanilla bean seeds in the custard filling. However, it cost me over 8 dollars and took me over 40 minutes to commute there. The workers also seemed like they were trying to get people in and out as fast as possible.
There's a small patio outside and benches inside.
It's worth trying, but
I probably won't return since I can find high quality options closer to my area for a better price

My new favourite bakery in Toronto. I only discovered them couple of months ago and have been driving 15 minutes couple of times a week just to get their breads and baked goods. Ridiculously delicious. Their coffee is quite good too, I’m happy. Fast service which is amazing when you have a baby and a toddler in tow. Highly recommend.

Amazing bakery with amazing sourdough options and pastries. The place is small and hours are limited on weekends. But, aside from that it’s def worth it.

I tried the cardamom knot with a flat white. I bought a chocolate croissant and plain sourdough bread to-go.

Update: I was lucky enough to have a butter tart as soon as it came out of the oven. It was warm and delicious!

The croissant is truly a work of art! Beautiful lamination and flavour.
The cardamom knot was delicious, and so was the challah.

Honestly it was good but nothing so mind-blowing. Not sure if there is something special that I should try, but this time I had an olive focaccia and their cardamom bun. The olive focaccia was indeed pretty amazing, no notes there. The cardamom bun was good but I’ve definitely had better - the flavour of the cardamom could have been stronger and the dough softer. The sugar coating was an interesting choice, but I felt like it could have been better with either a glaze or powdered sugar. If I ever pass by the area I’ll try something else, but I wouldn’t make the trek just for it again.
