I recently dined at this restaurant with my family, and overall, it was a great experience. We ordered a mix of dishes: fillet and lobster, truffle Parmesan chicken, and two drinks—Soul Revival and Hey Hibiscus.

The fillet, which I ordered medium, came out well done, which was a bit disappointing. However, the lobster was cooked to perfection and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The truffle Parmesan chicken was also excellent—rich, flavorful, and cooked just right.

As for the drinks, both were refreshing but had an overpowering ginger flavor that masked the other ingredients, which was a bit too much for my taste.

The atmosphere was wonderful—cozy and inviting, with a nice ambiance that made for a relaxing evening. The customer service was exceptional; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great time.

Overall, a solid dining experience with just a couple of small tweaks needed. I would definitely return!

Took my son for lunch on his birthday. Greeter and manager(?) acknowledged the event and a card was on the table. Nice touch!. Food was excellent. He had Mediterranean bowl and I had fish tacos. We had cheesecake dessert and it was the best I’ve had. Would definitely recommend.

For our anniversary, we decided to stay local and chose Cactus Club, and it didn’t disappoint. We arrived 15 minutes early but were seated promptly. Moe, our host, was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. We both ordered the steak, which was delicious and came in generous portions. When it came time to settle the bill, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our dessert was on the house—a thoughtful gesture for our special occasion. It’s the little touches like these that make all the difference.

Solid cactus club location; nice atmosphere and decor. Food quality was good, and service was good as well. If you’ve been to a cactus club location, you know everything is pretty consistent in quality, so this location is no exception. Consistent and stable restaurant chain location if you’re looking for food in the area.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Cactus Club Coquitlam since they opened, but my recent Uber Eats order on New Year’s Eve was deeply disappointing. Two of our mains never arrived, and the Rigatoni Bolognese was served with spaghetti inside, which felt like something from a low-quality diner. This ruined our New Year’s Eve dinner, and I expected much better from a restaurant of this caliber. Very disappointed—thank you for letting us down on such an important night.

I have to say, the quality of the food has improved significantly!

On my last visit, I was left disappointed, but last night completely changed my perspective. Both the cocktails and the food were exceptional and truly stood out. The flavors were spot on, and it’s clear the team has made a real effort to elevate the dining experience. I'll definitely be coming back.

While we generally like going to Cactus Club for the food and drinks, the dining room is much too dark to fully enjoy the meal. I actually like to see the food that I’m eating because a nicely plated dish adds to the sensory pleasure. It is too dark to see the food that we are eating. Even our teenage daughter said her eyes felt strained towards the end of our dinner. The enclosed patio is better lit, but the inside dining area is way too dark for me to enjoy my meal

Wish I could give no stars,but had to put something unfortunately.
So loud couldn't hear anything from my coworkers to the server. Food was cold and tasteless (had the chicken strips and truffle fries) fries weren't even seasoned and I paid extra $$$ for the upgrade only to have tasteless fries and cold chicken strips! Will not ever be returning to this location.
Also to add the Bellini I had was definitely definitely not worth the price I paid for either and had like no alcohol in it! Another major let down which is another staple CC is known for!
Have had mediocre service from this location before and now after this last service will definitely not be returning! For the $50 I paid for just myself it 100% was not at all worth the price. My co workers complained about the lack of attentiveness and poor food quality as well and said they won't be returning either. Usually cactus club is an A++ but they absolutely more than missed the mark on this night. So no thanks, I'll go to a much more reputable place that knows how to make properly cooked chicken and well seasoned truffle fries not just tossed under the heat lamp for a few seconds not even room temp fries 🍟
