I think the bog is an unusual location for Vancouver. It is not big and has very comfortable trails. The most interesting season for visiting is fall and spring.
Then you can walk in Spirit Park.

A nice nature walk even in the rain. Lots of information boards with interesting facts about the bog. The boardwalk is really nicely done and it makes for a pleasant walk.

Definately a favorite place for dog owners to walk their pets. Both the people and dogs we meet along the trail were friendly and pleasant. A great place for kids to explore nature. Wear appropriate foot wear when it's raining as some large puddles do form on the trails to the bog.

A nice weekend walk, with options to make it longer or shorter, depending on your preference. Parts (most?) of it is wheelchair accessible, due to being on a boardwalk. There are a few parts with stairs that would be an issue, but it's still possible to go see the bog at least. Careful of the slugs and other critters that are sometimes on the walking tracks.

What a beautiful and serene location I never knew this city had to offer. The paths were clean and clear of debris. There are many signs located around the bog to help you locate and identify the different plants around the bog. There are benches to sit on, shaded areas and lots of beautiful photo opportunities.

Small and highly interesting place if you're fascinated by biodiversity and ecosystems. The remnants of a 3000~ year old peat bog that dried up 50 years ago, but has lots of information signs and restructuring effort as part of a local plan to restore the bog.
