Went out to the store two weeks back. Never, ever will make the drive out there ever again. Ten years ago it was great. Now, it's just a festering collection of dead plants. It has nothing to offer.

The only reason I'm leaving a 4-star review is because we are happy with the product that was delivered. We ordered 5x10 Gallon of Phyllostachys nigra (with delivery it cost 1,098.51). The bamboo we received were healthy with large rhizome balls. It took 3 weeks for this order to arrive.

The customer service was not great:
- website say 5 days for delivery
- they don't respond to emails
- they are difficult to reach on the phone
- initial delivery date that was confirmed over the phone was delayed a week
- I was concerned that this order would never arrive (and I even opened a dispute with the credit card company)

In the end I'm happy with the product that arrived, and I'm very happy that I didn't have to rent a truck and drive to Chilliwack (the 271.20 delivery fee was actually quite reasonable). Also, similar quality bamboo at other garden centers closer to Vancouver is significantly more expensive, so we are happy about the price

Bamboo World made our trip to Vancouver from Nova Scotia. Stefan asked our preferences and needs, gave us a quick tour to the farm and showed us the beautiful bamboo varieties with amazing qualities that suits our needs plus an extra big clump of Sweet Shoots Bamboo. No other supplier can beat that, because we love eating bamboo shoots!😍
They packaged the bamboo plants nicely so that we won’t have difficulty in checking it with our luggage to fly back to Nova Scotia.
Knowledgeable, very friendly and generous. Looking forward to purchase more sooner. God bless you more Bamboo World!

Just bought and received a "MOSO" bamboo ! I'm very pleased with it. it's about 10 feet tall and looks very healthy. I see very tall things in it's future. This is my second purchase from Bamboo World, 4 years ago I bought a Nigra Henon and it's doing well. I'm happy with Canada's Bamboo World. Thanks.

Stay away. Scam. Unfortunately I found the online negative reviews only after I had foolishly sent payment by etransfer. Initial contact seemed fine, website seemed legit. Spoke with Stephan over the phone first and seemed fine, nothing shady. Had to request a quote a couple of times and then paid but then no response. Called and texted a few times and every time another excuse. I quickly realized that I would get nowhere. No response to emails complaining. Thank goodness I wasn't out more than 100 hundred dollars but a good lesson NEVER etransfer unless you KNOW it's legit. Should be out of business-read the negative reviews! All similar experiences!

Read the reviews Please! I also lost my money like many people!! Should have never Prepaid for an order, it's been way over 2 months. He stopped returning emails and calls shortly after getting my money. I wish all my fellow victims could get together for a claim.

Ordered a robusta plant online. They sent me a totally dead plant. I sent them photos of the dead plant after at their request after i notified them and they said they would send a replacement. They never did and soon stopped responding to me. So i paid over $300 for a plant pot. I call this theft and would not recommend doing business with a such crooks. They have ripped me off.

There was a hiccup with the original delivery but the manager has sent replacements out of pocket. Even going so far as to personally package them up. I believe you can trust them to take care of you and your order.

I can't wait for these to grow up in a few years🎍
