I want to preface this with I never ever leave a bad review, however this shop is over pricing and selling treats that are extremely out of date. I was so excited to get 1 packet of walker crisps and looked at the best before date which was 1.5 years prior. So disappointing. They should do better. Please don't fall for this scam.

lol avoid this place at all costs. Everything is out of date. Selling expired goods and that too at a premium.

We came by Friday only to see it was only open Saturdays and Sundays.
We decided to return on Sunday. Had a hiccup that delayed our boat trip. I called up Candy in the Cove to see if they would be willing to stay open 30 minutes later for us. The owner, Jan, had dinner reservations at 5pm but said she will see what she can do especially when her carts will be already placed back in the store. 5:40pm she calls me to tell me she was at the store. We raced over to find so many cute and one-of-a-kind sweets and chips. My youngest one was so amazed. She said, “Wow the smallest candy shop in the world has the most candy!” So many that I have to come back much earlier to take my time in there. Jan made 5 kids very happy! To top it off, it was Jan’s birthday and she had her party to attend to but she was so kind and patient to open her shop back up for us. This hidden gem should be on everyone’s bucket list! Thank you Jan! You made our visit to Bowen island so memorable!

Nice women working but absolutely everything I got was stale. Purchased candy bars that were three years expired (not very good safe). All gummy candies were rock hard. Would recommend saving your money for the gas stations instead of getting the inedible candy the women is selling here.

Wonderful little shop tucked away next to Barcelona. Unique assortment of sweets and goods from around the world. The owner was an absolute pleasure! Definitely a must visit on Bowen Island.

Great selection, but we bought some Old Fashioned Taffy, you know,t one that's flat neopolitan flavour.
My favorite as a kid.
Yeah well it expired in 2014!!
I know it's a small run business and money must be tight but......2014!
Really!!
If we visit Bowen Island again, we will drop by again, but this time we will check the dates...lol.
