Good and easy hiking, especially for kids. There is no picnic table, no washroom or garbage can. Be mindful and bring your own garbage bag if you are planning to eat during your hiking.

Beautiful birding park! There is a Porta potty in the first parking lot. Gravel roads with lots of potholes, some large and flooded over. Lovely views and birds. It wasn't crowded when we went. Also, there's a blind with a couple of wooden benches where you can watch the Meadowlarks. I fell in love with the trees!

We were looking forward to this unique environment, which was interesting, but the single path out and back all along the farm fence made it a very tedious 'hike'.

I gave it 5 stars despite being bit by a tick, because it’s a beautiful area with a nice open meadow.

Watch out for ticks tho. Mosquitos are about 3x bigger too.

Here you can find interesting birds that can hardly be found anywhere else in Canada such as the Loggerhead Shrike or the Upland Sandpiper

This is a different type of park. It is a natural area, an Alvar. It is an amazing area for bird watching and photography. It is not like most provincial parks.
