I stopped in while attending the weekend Fall Fest Geocaching event. The staff was lovely and they had samples out for the event attendees. Everything tasted great and we bought pepperettes to snack on later..

Carl's has a very well known reputation for quality meats. If you want to find 'your butcher', this is the place to go. Friendly staff, IMMACULATE shop.

We also get our canine foods here. Superior quality, that I will vouch for.

Absolutely the best butcher shop around.
But above that, the most incredible people that run the shop. There's not a week that we don't make it a point to make our way 6 minutes down the road for the Carl's Choice experience. You walk in and everyone is so happy to greet you. There's always fresh soup, pepperoni sticks, cheese. You name it and you get to sample it all. Today, they were a cut above the rest. It's pouring rain and we were greeted at our car with an escort to the shop under an umbrella. You will not see service like this from anywhere else. My two boys love going to Carl's and hear the joke of the day and friendly banter. From pickles to milk and so many other local options. I leave feeling like we have the best community around. If you hadn't tried them yet; you're missing out on premium meat choices from premium people. Thank you!

The Chum Chow from Carls Choice Meats is the most nutritious and economically practical for my dogs. I can actually afford to feed them healthy.
I love the homemade soups. They have a wonderful selection.

Its worth the drive to Brantford. Their meats are the best as well as there staff. You don't just walk into a store. You enter a family atmosphere were you find an uncommon friendliness not just among the staff but many of the customers as well. Like I said its like a family gathering. I specially love their bacon, the difference between theirs and the rest is like day and night
Almost forgot, my dog loves their chum chow. Started him on that when he was loosing weight because nothing else appealed to him.
