Talked to someone at the store to arrange something for my mom’s 84th birthday. She asked what I wanted and I said a nice aroma and bright and colourful. They went above and beyond and my mom is absolutely thrilled! This is a picture one week after delivery. Couldn’t be happier!!

After having a not so positive experience at another local florist Carls really turned it all around! The florist on short notice prepared the most beautiful wedding bouquets , flower girl bouquet and boutonnière. She brought me to see all the flowers available. I had no real inspiration but asked for oranges, yellows, white and pampas and it turned out stunning!!! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for florals.

I brought in a bouquet charm with photos of my father and step father who have passed to be attached to the stems. Somehow the florist thought it would be a good idea to attach my beautiful charm to a stick with scotch tape and have it protruding from the center of my bouquet. It looked absolutely ridiculous and when I called to ask how to fix it as there was no way I could walk down the isle with it the way it was the florist was incredibly rude to me and flippantly told me to just bring it back and she would fix it. This was not an option as they were late getting the flowers ready as it was and we did not have time to take them back. When I emailed my complaints I was told that my bouquet was beautiful and there was no problem with the charm placement and the tape was only on the back. The tape was not only on the back and was in fact covering my stepfathers face and the bottom part of the charm was pulled off and attached to a piece of wire. When I reiterated how upsetting and disrespectful I found that and asked for an apology I was ignored. At $600 for 2 bouquets and 2 boutonnières I expected to be getting a quality service, not attitude and an expensive charm turned into something that looked like a third grade art project.

My bouquet, as mentioned in the comment below from Sheryn at Carl’s flowers may have been $227 + tax .. however that is not the price I am referencing above.. the entire order as mentioned above came to nearly $600. I have the invoice and credit card statement to prove this. It was discussed that the charm should be on the front of the bouquet , which it should have. The front of the bouquet does not and never did mean protruding from the center. No demands were made of the florist.. it was suggested that she could come fix it but she was informed that it could not be returned. Sheryn did in fact ignore my second email and I received a phone call to come and discuss only after I left a review that she did not like. The charm was full of scotch tape as clearly visible in the photo above and the photos shown to me by Carls flowers. Danika, the florist who made my bouquet was not short with me on the phone but incredibly rude and unprofessional. This describes her attitude during our meeting as well.

Carls in Penticton did my bridal bouquet and my husband's boutonniere and we have nothing but good things to say! The staff were friendly, the price was reasonable, and (most importantly) the floral was beautiful!

Twice now in under 2 years, I have had to order some flowers on short notice for a funeral service.

The first time was less than 24 hours notice when it I realized that my parents had skipped florals entirely due to budget constraints for my stepbrothers service. They put together some simple, lovely arrangements which the flowers they had and gave us such a good deal. And no one minded that I had no idea what I was talking about or judged me for looking so last minute.

Unfortunately, my stepdad passed away this past week and I found myself again needing flowers for a service. Sheryn responded to my inquiry within a few hours of receiving it. She worked with me on colours and style and really took into account the things my mom said she liked. Of course, I haven't seen the flowers yet since the service is Saturday but I am sure they will also be lovely!

I ordered flowers from Carl's for my mom's 60th birthday a few weeks ago. They were $100 plus tax and delivery fees, and there was supposed to be loads of red in it. The person I spoke with on the phone joked that that wouldn't be an issue since it was almost Valentine's Day, and said she'd add a big "Happy Birthday" balloon too. That's not at all what they delivered... My mom explained that what showed up was 6 red carnations with some greenery and filler, all placed in a comically large vase. "I hope you don't think I'm complaining," my mom said, "but either there's been a mistake, or you've been ripped off. This looks like a $10 bouquet from Safeway. I know you would have spent more than that so I thought you should know not to order from that florist again."

That seemed odd to me, and nothing like what I ordered, so I called Carl's and asked if they could look into it. We all make mistakes sometimes, and I know things are busy around Valentine's Day. Sharon took my name and number and said she'd get back to me. It's been a week and no one was called me back. I'm really disappointed by the quality of the product that Carl's delivered, and that they didn't make any effort to make this right.

I recommend ordering from the Enchanted Florist instead.

The flowers I received was a non- issue until I got 2 emails.
The email from Janna basically told me that I had got what I had ordered & I was happy with it , I had not seen the bouquet Very poor customer service Janna !!

My aunt is a leap year baby so I wanted to surprise her with some sweet thoughts and gorgeous flowers for her birthday as she is a very special aunt. I was a bit skeptic to place an order because of the review rating nevertheless I placed an online order of their nature's glory floral. My aunt was very very happy! She called me right after she received them and said the flowers are beautiful! you made her happy so thank you so much!?
