Dr.Bergen is a phenomenal human being and we are extremely grateful to have him as our veterinarian. Dr.Bergen truly cares about you and your animals. Whether it be something as simple as a vaccine appointment, or a late night phone call concerning the livelihood of your animals, he is there to provide compassionate care and support for you and your pets.
I have never felt this comfortable and confident in a veterinarian before, which is such a relief knowing my animals are in such good care.
We will drive two hours into Chetwynd for Dr.Bergen - no problem!

Really nice veterinary doctor and staff; I really appreciate them taking a second look at my sick kittens when I’m not sure about things myself! (I’m no Doctor of Veterinary!!) So sometimes an expert consult is needed 🙂

Nothing personal against the staff but their policy sucks.
We live roughly am hour away and chetwynd is the closest vet. My dog fell off a 25 foot cliff and they would not make an acception to see him because we are not from chetwynd. Even though our neighbour (who's also not from chetwynd) takes his dogs there regularly, we couldn't even use his name as a loophole.
I understand not taking new permanent clients from out of town, but to turn away someone in an emergency is just awful!

The best experience.
We are from out of town and while camping in the area our French bulldog ended up having an allergic reaction and was having difficulty breathing. Dr. Mark Bergen made the time to see our dog as soon as we arrived at the Vet, he listened to my dog’s history and explained everything in great detail. Never once did I feel rushed or that I was being fed incorrect information. After receiving the best care possible I went to pay for what I thought would be an expensive emergency visit and was pleasantly surprised with an extremely reasonable fee. I could not be more thankful for this Veterinary Hospital and to Dr. Mark Bergen for saving our dog. The people of Chetwynd are extremely lucky to have them.

These guys were absolutely amazing to deal with! Husband and I are long haul truck drivers, I called them from the road as our senior cat was having bladder control issues. They fit us into their busy schedule and got our cat diagnosed and gave us all the medications needed for a UTI. Super sweet staff and the vet was fantastic! Highly recommend coming here!!
