Clean, well stocked store with fair pricing. Could use a better selection of gluten free items located all in one area. However, this is a common deficiency in many stores.

The staff are rude to each other and give each other redirection in front of customers that is catty and rude. I have just shopped here a couple times, but during these times I’ve left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with my interaction with the staff.
Do better!!!!!!!!
I’ll definitely be headed to St. Albert for a more positive experience.

Honestly the way the treat the staff here is not nice.
I've been shopping here for a few years now, but I'll be stopping that, the fruits ain't fresh they claim it to be, and few times I got pork chops they smell like fish and the meat just look unpleasant, when you try to return it even in the same day for the fruits it's always a fight and leads to the store managers to be rude. With the prices going up I'm finding sobeys is starting to be cheaper and have better deals. The store has gone down in good quality like it use to have

Good prices, great staff in a Sunday afternoon it wasn't too busy. I think if travel from the city out here just for a more enjoyable grocery shop. The store is laid out in a comprehensible manor, I was looking for frozen chicken bones and found it easily and got a great price. I ended up picking up some other meat products as well because of how affordable they were.

This store & all stores associated with it like superstore are a joke will only go if I am desperate. They put on a promotion & get you to spend your money but don’t supply the product, very unlikely I will bother with them again. I will drive farther to get groceries. Prices keep rising & products are not on the shelves, fruit & veggies are terrible stale bread. Not for me anymore, glad we have a shoppers now will go there for the items I need at least there you get points you make nothing from groceries, no pot or pan after all the stamps I collected

**Update- I was able to return the crusts, and the store Manager was wonderful. I would still be really careful with the products that have dates that are put on by the store, but I’m happy with the way the store handled it.

Purchased pizza crust today for supper tonight, one of them was marked down due to the expiry date, which still should have been ok, the other one was not. Went to make pizza tonight and both crusts have mold on the bottom of the crusts. I honestly don’t trust the dates that they are using for the best before dates anymore. The date label is put on by whoever is taking them out of the freezer, or it’s a storage issue.
The crust that wasn’t as close to being expired was the most moldy! This is the second time I have purchased a bread product from this store that has gone moldy way before the expiry date.
With the price of food nowadays this isn’t acceptable.
We also don’t live in Morinville and don’t have the option of driving back and forth to return something that we need that night, it ruined our dinner and we had to scramble to figure out another option.
I’m extremely disappointed.
And on another note, if you go to the self checkout you will need to get someone to take the 50% off of your item as it’s not programmed into the POS system. We actually paid full price.

They used to do something GREAT for the environment and put the old boxes near the tills for customers to use. (I think they stopped doing this now?!?) As the name suggests it's "NO FRILLS" so don't expect anything other than a VERY basic supermarket (no deli with rotisserie chicken or in store bakery, etc) Also, the baguettes are sometimes stale. At least it's cheap here. And the young cashiers are typically very efficient.
