Excellent customer service! I have shopped here with my mom since I was a little girl and the cashier's that work here have always been so nice! I've witnessed a few customers with poor attitudes at the till and the cashiers have handled them wonderfully. The produce isn't always great, but I do like the staff. I've had really nice conversations with every cashier that works here and even most of the grocery department staff. The customer service is a huge part of what keeps me shopping here! Christine really is running an excellent business.

I have gone to No Frills several times and have been disappointed with the produce before but I’ve never see it this bad! Major brown spots and clearly the broccoli was well past its prime. I would have gone with the cauliflower but it was worse.
The last time I went I also wanted to pick up Silk’s coffee cream and they were out. I would have thought by now a week and a half later it would have been restocked but again it wasn’t there. If there had been an alternative like Silk unsweetened soy milk that would sufficed but that also was out.
It wouldn’t have been such a big deal for me today but that fact that I was feeling unwell and needed to get home it was a major inconvenience as I’d have to go to another store adding a lot of time to an already uncomfortable situation.

The meat selection left a little to be desired, but the cuts of beef and pork are very affordable. They are just not the finest cuts available.

I would return and shop there often as it's not busy the staff are friendly and it's conveniently located.

I rarely shop at No Frills in Calgary as the store is not to my liking. However, I was in Okotoks and out to find a watermelon (yes in January). The No Frills in Okotoks was my third grocery store. The produce section is excellent and the store is so clean and organized! What a surprise!

Absolutely ridiculous gouging ie) Del Monte orange juice on sale for $6 for the majority of December, today it’s $7 and they still have the nerve to put a ‘price drop’ label on it. How is that price dropping when it’s $1 more than it was 2 days ago? One particular employee who has a Karen haircut to match her attitude when I had an issue with my card at self checkout, I said I just needed run to my vehicle to grab another card from my wallet instead and she very rudely told me I needed to put all of my items back myself. I would have understood if it were busy and I was holding up the line but I was the only person at self checkout. No thanks! Left my items and spent the extra time to go to another grocery store.

Worst produce, and worst customer service imaginable. When returning a recalled product I was denied a refund and treated with contempt. I suspect these 5 star reviews aren’t even real people because I have never met a single person in this town who’s appreciated anything about this business to date.

Ridiculously rude cashier. I was at self checkout, finished scanning my stuff, and the screen asks if I want the stickers for a promotion they’re running. I hit the “yes” button and the screen said: “Wait for attendant”. I put my goods back in my basket since I had already scanned them and the cashier barked at me: “The stuff has to stay on THAT side!!” and points to where I originally placed them after scanning. Wow.. So I put the stuff back on the other side (as ordered by the drill sergeant) and she comes over a minute later, scans her employee card, and says: “You want stickers?!!” I said yes; the screen asked me if I wanted the stickers, I hit yes, and it said to wait for attendant. She throws her arms up as if it’s my fault she didn’t know what was going on.

I just abandoned the crap there and walked out. There are way too many grocery stores with friendly staff in Okotoks for anyone to put up with this nonsense. They might be more expensive but at least their meat and produce sections look good and the staff are friendly and non adversarial.

What’s interesting is that I have spoken with several other people over the years about this No Frills and they know exactly which cashier I’m talking about. What a coincidence… I will NEVER go back. From the look of their usually barren parking lot, it would appear others have enjoyed similar customer service. It only takes one sour employee to turn off customers and sink a business.
