A perfect gem in the heart of Nelson. This boutique accommodation is something special. The rooms are uniquely designed with lots of natural light, perfectly created with mornings in mind. Nested amongst gorgeous landscaping and mature trees surrounding verandas off many of the rooms, the ambient landscape lighting near private room entrances made returning to the Cloudside at night feel safe and beautiful.

I worked with the Cloudside to bring out of town professional partners to Nelson for an event hosted by my non-profit. Their staff made it easy for my guests to book and was very communicative and accommodating. All my guests were openly impressed by the choice of accommodation. With prices competitive to a standard hotel, many of my clients said they would choose the Cloudside over other accommodation on future trips.

I look forward to working with the Cloudside again. Their high end, welcoming rooms added to the executive experience of the event.

We stayed two nights here! We were hoping to get the apartment with the full kitchen. Expedia made an error in the booking and didn’t help us out. However, the hotel manager was amazing. They took it into their own hands to rectify the error. We were delighted with the resolution.

This place is really cute! They had space for our bikes and parking was included. The rooftop patio was awesome in the evenings to chill with the family and play games.

Amazing location just a block away from Baker Street. Walking distance to all the amenities. Highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Nelson.

It was wonderful staying at the Cloudside Hotel! It’s a charming boutique gem tucked away right in the heart of downtown Nelson, within walking distance of great restaurants and cafés. I especially loved the thoughtful touches of the locally made chocolate and handwritten welcome note made the stay feel extra special.

Must stay. You must stay here. Beautiful, quaint, lovely and clean. The people were super sweet and helpful. They have thought of literally EVERYTHING you could possibly need on your stay. The attention to detail here is top notch. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The location is right off of the Main Street with the best coffee shop right around the corner. |Absolute must stay in Nelson. It’s the cutest. We even had a little sun room to have coffee in off our room. There’s a back deck to have an evening glass of wine and they even provide blankets. Loved it. 10 stars

Das Cloudside ist ein perfektes, individuelles Hotel, das mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Die Lage ist zentral und somit ideal, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Besonders beeindruckend ist die stilvolle und gemütliche Ausstattung, die sofort zum Wohlfühlen einlädt. Wer ein charmantes Hotel mit Persönlichkeit sucht, wird hier rundum glücklich. Absolut empfehlenswert.

A lovely stay at a cute and well turned out local hotel. The charm and authentic history comes through in droves. The room we had was lovely, clean and had everything that we could need on hand. The hotel typified Nelson for charm.
