Our family couldn't be happier with our male shepherd from Coastal Roots. Our boy is exceptionally intelligent, loyal and great with our baby girl. He has amazing drive, endurance and strong working ability. He definitely stands out. Brenda is an excellent breeder to consider if you want a good quality GSD! She is honest and works very hard to produce healthy, sound, good examples of the GSD breed. She was patient, very kind and willing to answer any questions we had while we waited to bring our boy home.

If you've been looking for an intelligent, loyal and beautiful canine companion - look no further. Brenda's German Shepherds are exceptional dogs in all of those categories and more. When folks meet our Cassie, they are often impressed by how well-behaved and attentive she is for a pup (after saying "she's so pretty!" of course). Cassie was housebroken within the first month of being in our home, and knows many tricks already at not even 18 weeks old. She has been walking with me without a leash in wooded trails with absolutely no issues, always following closely and responding quickly if I holler or whistle when she wanders off a bit. German Shepherds are known to be smart, but Brenda's genetic line is second to none in producing top quality dogs.

As for dealing with Brenda and the transaction itself - as others have said, you know Brenda loves the dogs like family within the first few interactions with her. She puts you through an application process that is more highly scrutinized than most job applications, and for that I would give 6 stars if I could. It shows how much she cares for the animals and only wants them to go to good homes. She is not just trying to sell you a puppy, she is more concerned with placing the dogs in a loving environment where they will thrive.

I highly recommend getting your GSD from Brenda and Coastal Roots German Shepherds.

We have three young boys who are absolutely in love with their Cassie.
She has definitely added some life into our home and completed our family, and for that I will always be grateful.

I can't thank Coastal Roots German Shepherds enough, my male pup is our newest family member and is the most wonderful little guy. Brenda was so amazing throughout the whole process, with lots of pictures, videos and kind words to share. When I visited her property it was incredible to see all of the German Shepherds they are absolutely beautiful!!!!

Brenda is so wonderful to communicate with! She would send videos and pictures regularly so we could watch the pups grow. Her dogs are beautiful and we were so lucky to have been able to bring our pup home in February. Brenda has checked in with us several times to see how things are going and she is always quick to respond if we have a question.You can certainly tell that she loves all her pups.
Our new pup is extremely intelligent and at 17 weeks she's already 43lbs. If your looking for a gorgeous German Shepherd pup and an excellent breeder Brenda is the one to contact!

What can I say, what an absolute pleasure of an experience to purchase on of Coastal Roots puppies!!! Brenda is a pleasure to deal with and very responsive she provides updates, pictures and videos from the birth of your puppy right up until you bring the little one home! She has also been a great help after bringing the little one home. Keeping up with how things are progressing and there to answer any questions you may have.

The puppies are absolutely beautiful!! Coastal Roots breads some of the most beautiful German Shepherds I have seen. I could have gotten puppies sooner from other locations but I HAD TO HAVE one of hers. The pictures on her website are great but do not do justice to the colours that are in the coat of the dogs!

If I am to ever buy another German Shepherd puppy I will be reaching out to Coastal Roots again!!

We got our Moe, January 16th. He brings great happiness to our family with his playfulness and loyalty. Sometimes he is smarter than his own good but we love it. Brenda was marvelous from the get go and very thankful we made that connection with Coastal Roots when we did. Life with Moe is grand so thank you Brenda for being there for us all. Awesome job ?
