Our dog Daisy has been going to daycare here since she was a puppy and we have nothing but good things to say about Bev and the staff of Confident Canines. Daisy is always excited to go to daycare see all her human and dog friends there. The hours are very accommodating to our work schedule and the staff are always so friendly. The classes with Bev are excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Both of our dogs, 3 years old and 1 year old, have been going to Confident Canines since "Puppy Class". They go to doggie-daycare at least once a week (sometimes more depending on our schedule) and have taken various obedience and scent classes from the center. They LOVE daycare! They are happy to go in and happy and tired when they come home. Our youngest dog is often shy around strangers but she loves Bev and all the staff there. Even though our dogs have each other for company, I believe that socialization among other dogs and people is important for happy, well-behaved dogs. I couldn't imagine what we do if we didn't have doggie-daycare.

To the people who wrote the bad review, talk to the staff, the owner and the people who take their dogs there. If you sat in the parking lot that long, you would have seen numerous people and their dogs coming in and out ... ask them how they like it. It's not fair to just write things (on a google review, even) without going to the owner to discuss it first. And as someone else said, I'm not sure how you would have "seen" anything sitting in the parking lot. Get out of your car and walk in the building. You will be amazed at what you see.

Confident Canines are great. The staff & owner truly care about the dogs and it is easy to tell by there actions with them. Taz our Lab-mix loves it, and we he gets home at the end of the day he is wore out from playing and running with all the other dogs. A tired dog means a happy dog. We recommend this place for day-care and training.

5 stars isn't enough. This place is the best thing that ever happened to my dog, Lily. I can't give you enough thanks and praise for the huge assist in raising Lily from a crazy, submissive puppy to the well-behaved, confident, social, obedient dog she is. Pretty sure you guys deserve more than half of the credit for that. I have a beagle that listens and who's always looking for her next direction, that's fairly uncommon in the beagle world!!

In regards to the daft review about "whips", it literally made me laugh. Clearly this person knows nothing about dogs; they should have talked to a staff member, asked what was going on, instead of making assumptions from a distance, through a crack in the fence. What a weird review. The TRAINERS on staff use tools which look like a stiffened clothesline to keep control over the pack. These tools go from ground to the trainers hand, that's it, one end is always on the ground. The TRAINERS use them to separate dogs if they start to play too hard. The day they started using these, I went to pick up Lily and thought she must have been the last dog there for the day because it was SO QUIET; to my surprise, there were still over 20 dogs in the yard. Doggy daycare changed from that day forward....it was calm, cool and collected every day after that. When you can walk in to a yard of 25, 30 dogs and see they are ALL playing well, getting along or just relaxing, you know something really special is going on. My dog can't wait to go back to daycare, every time; I think it'd be a little different if they were whipping them, really.

Bev Wells is an unbelievable dog handler, Caesar Milan has NOTHING on her. Her heart is huge and she loves her pack. I've seen her do some wonderful things for dogs. Where others gave up, she did not.

Get out of your car and stop spying and assuming...go in, spend some time, ask some questions; you'll see what a special place this is and how lucky any dog would be to be a part of it. It's a family and I have been part of it pretty much since Day 1. I feel like family, they treat me and Lily like family. I have never, not for one second considered this to be a negative environment for my dog.

We love Confident Canines! It's a great place to give Bennie some (lots of) exercise where I know she will be given love and attention all day long. Bev is always so responsive to questions and their online booking system makes my life so much easier!

Ace LOVES going to daycare, he is extremely excited every time we say he's going to daycare and when he gets there the girls are so nice to him, you can tell that they all love what they are doing! it is am amazing place to take your fur babies and let them get their energy out when you are at work/school all day! As you can see in the photo I attached, he is so excited to be at daycare!

I use Confident Canines weekly for my dog, Odin, who loves it there. It was very important for socializing him since he was a baby. When I take him to the dog park I can immediately recognize dogs that are not properly socialized. The staff here are great and sending your dog here will be doing yourself and your dog a big favour.

The staff here are amazing! You can tell they really love what they do! My dog can barely contain his excitement heading in the door and always comes home from daycare pooped! I can tell he’s had a good day.

As for training, the owner, Bev, has spent a lot of time upping her game and very knowledgeable, totally down to earth and very understanding of the limited time we all have to put into training. She breaks things down to make it easy ?
