Country Lane Farm.... I truly love this place! I moved to this gorgeous farm last year. Finally a barn and training program I fit in to, feel comfortable with and 100% TRUST. My horse is on the top of my priority list, I am a meticulous horse owner who expects top of the line care, training and facility. Country Lane Farm checks off all the boxes!
Owner and trainer live on this stunning 40 acre farm, monitored by cameras, beautifully constructed barn offering great GGT footing with automated sprinkler system. Paddocks and grass fields for every horse, large box stalls with windows that open for fresh air just to list a few.... I can't say enough about this piece of heaven!

They are the most caring, welcoming horse people I've ever met. Not to mention some of the best in the business whom I've always admired over the years. Darlene York is a class act, I absolutely adore her! She has brought to our industry one of North America's famed Hunter stallion of all time, Westporte and has bred some of the best horses in the show ring. I absolutely appreciate her knowledge and presence around the barn.

Channay Lloyd, Trainer and Rider at Country Lane Farm has impressed me with her ability to teach at home and coach me at the shows. The smallest details she instills in us, improving our skills, building consistency for success which is so important in this sport!
Many ribbons won at "A" Shows and imperative skills set this year! She has the intuitive ability to read both horse and rider. She is an amazing teacher, rider, friend, mother to her son and horse person!

I have a lot of FUN here with everyone and I am extremely happy with our ring and show progress this year! Friendly, positive and a happy group of people ride here in the most immaculate facility!

Last but not least, Julie our barn manager is the most amazing horse person and hands down offers the BEST care in the industry. Not only is she knowledgeable beyond measure, she loves the horses and cares for them in a way I have never seen in ANY barn. Hard working, treats in her pockets at all times and so patient when teaching her little lesson kids.
My horse is a dunker and she fills my bucket twice a day!! Once before dinner and again before she leaves. They all have AUTO water! I actually had to tell her to stop and that she did not have to do it twice... but that is the kind of person she is, the sweetest. "Horses first, " she says. I still catch her filling it twice sometimes! My horse Contempo is spoiled overload here!

I am truly thankful and grateful to be a part of this barn!

Channay is a really good trainer. She excels at teaching children- taking them from being novice riders to being a success at "A" rated horse shows.
Channay is very conscious of safety and making sure that kids and adults learns how to take care of the horse as well as ride, and ride well. Kids love the spring, summer and Christmas camps.

If you're looking for a safe and fun place to learn to ride that's accessible to Metro Vancouver, Country Lane is the place for you. Channay, the riding trainer is excellent, the school horses are really nice and safe, and the facility has nice footing and is in really great condition. The horse care is really good.

The barn has a really fun atmosphere for children and adults- barn parties, schooling shows with lovely prizes and fun riding camps. Country Lane is the perfect place to start riding and progress to horse shows. A family-oriented barn, they truly have horses for all abilities. I highly recommend Country Lane!

The position and approach this barn took to a vicious attack by one of their stallions on other horses is reprehensible. Their stallion was not properly secured for the evening and as result was roaming the stables at an event and attacked a number of other stabled horses and ponies, almost causing the death of one of the attacked animals. The lack of responsibility shown by both the owner and stable shows no empathy or desire to do the right thing. The pictures are too disturbing to post here of the multiple attacks. For anyone who is thinking of doing business with this stable I would strongly suggest you consider the lack of moral fiber this place demonstrates
