We are really pleased with the work from Cudmore's Landscape & Design. Our front porch, steps and walkway are stunning. Cudmore's was very responsive from day one, and worked with us to come up with a design that suited our house and was within our budget. The little garden they put in is the icing on the cake. Crew members were pleasant and professional, always taking great care to clean the surrounding area before they left each day. We highly recommend Cudmore's.

We had such a great experience with Cudmore’s from the beginning stages with Will Joyce’s first visit to our home to then meeting Landscape Designer Erica Gordon. The communication was excellent over the months in the planning stage. Erica took the time to go over all the details and offered different options in plants for us to choose from. After much anticipation and having to wait a few months for Spring, planting day finally arrived. Erica and her crew arrived bright and early to ensure all the work could get done in a timely manner. The quality of the plants was amazing! We also needed some large rocks and river rock relocated and Erica and her team took the time and care to artfully reincorporate them into my newly designed garden beds. Much thanks goes to Jenn, Shannon and Logan for all their hard work! The whole team went above and beyond to make my front yard look so beautiful! Everyone was very professional and they cleaned everything up well at the end of the day. I will not hesitate to recommend Cudmore’s to all my family, friends and neighbours! Lastly but certainly not least we would like to commend and thank Erica for her beautiful design! She was an exceptional person to work with. We have received so many compliments on our front yard. We look forward to many years of enjoyment of our garden! Thank you Cudmore’s.

We had the pleasure of working with the Cudmore's team over the last 8 months for our full house exterior renovation project.

We started our process by interviewing about 12 different contractors and after meeting Will and Erica we were immediately impressed with the personality connection and how they understood our perspectives. As an engineer, it may be helpful for me to lay out each step of the process and how Cudmores helped us at each step.

Design Process - I greatly enjoyed our design process with Erica and Will specifically because they listened to us and were able to pull out our vision of a modern hygge. We were inspired based on our travels to Scandinavia and the Arctic and Will and team went from our description of emotions and desires, to a very thoughtful, functional but beautiful design that we loved. We started with a smaller scope in our project, but as we started going through the process Will and Erica thoughtfully helped incorporate additional elements as we started thinking through the space. Iterative processes like this could be messy, but Will and Erica were able to take our scope creep and beautifully tie it all together. I greatly appreciate the iterations as well as constant communication.

Permits - We did significant changes to our grade along with having major water historical water issues. The Cudmore's team did a great job in navigating the complex permit process from the Town of Oakville along with the storm water management plan. The city also threw us a few curve balls due to our exterior waterproofing team moving soil before the permit, but Will and team calmy navigated all aspects and got us to the finish line.

Execution and Best of Breed Trades - Will's team are experts in the landscaping, hardscape, and softscape. We were incredibly impressed with the layers of work to get the job done right including ensuring that all of the elements tied together perfectly. When the hardscape and water management were done, the softscape went very quickly and it was almost magical to see the yard transform into a lush garden. Cudmore's approach is also to use a best of breed approach and we appreciated them organizing the subtrades (e.g. Burlington Paving, King Fence, Premium Irrigigation, etc) to ensure that we had quality work at a reasonable price. Will, Erica and Jen were exceptional in quarterbacking all of the different teams so they came together seamlessly. Cudmores also recommended us to Hauser furniture who did a great job helping us select the right pieces.

Dealing with Issues - Issues in a build will always come up, but the most important thing is how the team deals with the issues. We have a house that had many owners and some of the prior work was not done to code. One example was our gas line to our pool which was only buried 6-7 inches below grade. As the Cudmores team was excavating they nicked the gas line but then had the line buried to the proper depth and had a licensed gas installed come and fix it. I felt for any issue that we had, Will and team would work with me to find a good solution together.

Pricing - the Cudmore's team was not the most expensive, nor the least expensive and would be in and around the median. I think it's important to know that by working with Cudmores team you will always be looking at quality first and a job well done.

Outcome - The output was better than we could have imagined and we've already had multiple family events at our new backyard oasis. In addition, our front yard has also been completely transformed, and our neighbors and pedestrians who walk down our street have sent us countless compliments.

All in all, a great experience and we would easily recommend them to anyone looking to do a major transformation project.

Will and his awesome team at Cudmore’s did an incredible job designing and building the new landscaping at our home. We were in need of an update in our gardens, backyard and front yard and are thrilled with the finish result. Absolutely beautiful. Stunning. Makes us happy every morning to take a coffee outside and sit in the garden. Plus we can’t say enough about the great team.. so much care they put into their work. Friendly, fun, courteous. Recently had Cudmore’s attend and complete a 1-day garden renovation. Will came and discussed my needs and wants, he provided a rough draft of his vision along with an estimate which allowed me to take sometime and determine what I wanted. They had a gap in their schedule, Will called me the night before and advised his team was available to attend the next day to complete my job. The next morning Will attended with his team - Jenn, Brynn, Patrick and Luke introducing them all and outlined what was going to happen that day. The team got to work and within a few hours they had cleared out my garden, removing the roots and all. Jenn marked out the new garden and ensured I was happy before they started digging. They then spread fresh soil throughout the new garden bed. Shannon arrived shortly after with my plants and they begun planting. When they were all said and done, they cleaned up and there was no trace they were even there except for my new garden. Jenn even took the time to ensure I had no questions and advised how much watering I should be doing. Would highly recommend Cudmore’s for their pride and dedication to their craft, they say what they mean and mean what they say! Thanks!

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Our experience with Cudmore’s from design through completion was flawless. They have increased the useable space in our backyard and beautified it in the process. We now have a gorgeous outdoor living room to enjoy. The entire crew was a pleasure to work with. Cudmore’s will always be our first choice for any future outdoor projects.

I don't know where to start with how easy it was to work with Will & his amazing team. We are in a new build home & weren't sure how to execute our vision. With a million emails to Will (and not one email left without a timely thorough reply) they were able to capture our vision, stay in our budget & create a perfect scape. Will is so patient & professional. They provided a layout, colour scheme, budget outlook & took into consideration everything from winter weather concerns, summer weather etc etc etc. The project was completed with great communication. The site was left clean every day - neighbours would come after they were done for the day to check out the days accomplishments. We did hard/soft scaping. I could gush for days. Since our projected was completed I have referred Cudmore's 8 or more times and I know a few of the projects are already underway and others ready for the Spring.
