Kendra and her team recently undertook a complete landscaping project on our new home in West Sechelt, including a perimeter cedar fence and gates.

We gave Deep Roots free reign on design and execution of the project, and Kendra and her group really delivered! We only stipulated that we were interested in a modern, "water conservation" approach, using gravel and stone, with planting areas and trees throughout.

Deep Roots were very easy to work with, keeping us updated on the progress, and including us in all of the decision making, as the project unfolded. Indeed, Kendra, Jackie, Troy, and their team, worked tirelessly for over a month, in sometimes adverse conditions, to provide us with our beautifully landscaped property. We could not be more pleased!

In closing, we would wholeheartedly, and completely without reservation recommend Deep Roots to take on any landscaping project, big or small. Kendra and her team are skilled professionals, who will provide you with a tastefully designed and meticulously executed landscaping project. And they are darned nice local people!

I strongly dislike leaving negative reviews; however, realize that I would have really appreciated knowing this when I was researching landscaping companies, so feel inclined to share our experience with DeepRoots. Unfortunately after a initial site visit to provide a quote for our hardscaping project I had to follow up a few weeks later as I hadn't heard from them. They replied informing me that the timeline for the quote and work would be delayed, to which I was agreeable to the new timelines. I then followed up 3 more times with no response - 7 weeks post initial site visit and 4 weeks since their one and only email informing me about the install delays. As other trades have been waiting on the hardscaping to be completed before they can start, we've finally given up and are reaching out to other companies. If you are looking for timely communication and installation, I would look elsewhere.

I contacted Deep Roots to trim a large 5 metre tall hedge that separates my driveway and my neighbours'. Kendra came within a couple business days to provide a quote and had the work done within the week. My neighbours and I wanted to maintain privacy while taking back parking space that had been taken over by the hedge, as well as to add curb appeal. Deep Roots exceeded expectation. The hedge looks better than ever, we have more room on our driveway and can spend time on our deck without looking into our neighbours' yard. The work area was left very clean. I will be sure to contact them again for any Landscaping needs. A++.

We've been completely satisfied with the tree trimming and general garden maintenance done by Kendra and Jackie.
They're a good team - efficient, quick and offer helpful ideas for improvements. All is made neat and cleaned up when they leave.
