These are some of the best oysters you can buy in Nova Scotia. We usually call to see when they are around and plan a trip to drive out and get the oysters. It is really fun to see the lake where they come from and where the oysters are sold. The owner is also very nice and is a good person to chat with. Usually the oysters shuck reasonably easily and they always have great flavour. I would definitely suggest giving them a try!

Finally! I had the opportunity to visit and buy Eel Lake Oysters from the farm...they are amazing oysters and hope to see these oysters again in Vancouver, British Columbia...they are so amazing to eat: two selections, a semi salt water oyster, delicate, firm, medium in size a bit of a darker shell and a full on Atlantic sea water oyster, firm, salty and a lighter colored shell. Thank you for the tour and I had an amazing experience visiting the farm. Hope they open up tours again in the future and I recommend you check this oyster farm out in your travels. Another bucket list item checked off and wish these oysters were more widely available across Canada.

What a joke! We did our order on a Wednesday to have them here for Friday night. Our Christmas staff party. Nothing arrived at all for us and then I have to call in on Monday morning to ask for my refund!
Terrible idea on my behalf to reley on these people. We should've just got sushi like we were going to.
Quick update, they just said oysters are still on their way and asked me to dispose of them. Today is Monday!
