I highly recommend Dogwood Nursery. We did need quite a few plants for our new yard, including evergreens, shrubs and bloomers. Dogwood has an amazing selection. For instance, we found upright barberries in 2, 3, and 5 gallon containers. That flexibility is so welcome when you are doing replacements. As you look at the garden center, there’s a small area of the left with 2-6 of each variety they have. When you know what you want, get out to “the field,” out on the right side past the statuary. It’s where the numbers and size variety can be had. If you need large plant advise, find Lindsay. She’s a gem of knowledge and friendliness even in the busiest time of the year. In fact, everyone working there is awesome. Whatever they are doing in hiring and training, they are doing it right. Make a trip there for even your smallest plant-growing need. Your garden will thank you.

18 Acres of so many amazing and wonderful choices, the staff was very friendly and very knowledgable. In the future I will always make the trek out to West Kelowna and shop here. Parking is easy and the traffic is light. They have everything you could ever want. love love love this business

I Went to Dogwood this weekend to simply get a few yards of soil for our yard that we seeded. The first load (1 yard) we brought home had broken glass in it. The second yard we brought home was full of rocks, twigs and some mulch. Not happy. We called to inform them and they did not believe us. Top soil is to be screened. They did offer us a half yard but I said this was not acceptable and I would expect full credit (I was talking to one of the owners) he said no, that won’t happen. I replied that I will no longer use Dogwood and his reply was that that was fine and hung up. Nice place. I will stick with Bylands from now on. You can see by the photos that this is not screened, let alone that we found glass in the first load. Thanks Dogwood, very professional.

It is sad to see this nursery go down hill. We have been purchasing our plants seeds, flowers etc at Dogwood for decades. Most as we all know is expensive for some of their products. It has been 2 times this year when we asked for assistance with types of plants for our yard. Both times we had to wait at least 10 minutes to get service, only to have a horrible experience with short answers, like the plants on this side should work. Then the lady just walked away as though she was upset at us for asking. Unfortunately we drove directly to Bylands because they have good service with knowledgeable staff.

If we are going to spend hundred on plants, we deserve to know what to purchase, what to expect and mostly how to maintain the plants.

At the end of the day, if you need more staff, hire staff. Having 1 person to assist all the customers there is ridiculous 🙄

Penny has been so helpful with many different landscape solutions! This time she helped with adding some colour. Some great flower sales on right now so we stocked up. Everyone is always so helpful and friendly! Lola gets excited when we say we’re going to Dogwood!

I was told by a friend to go see them at Dogwood. I live in the middle of Kelowna..so it's a bit of a drive.. but Wow. 😀
I went a month before I bought to take a look.. immediately I felt really good going there... After I spent a good hour with Jeff..( The most chill dude ever) walking around the nursery looking at the trees, I was hooked. So I returned today to finally buy the trees.. and Lindsay.. ( also awesome) took us around again and we picked out the trees... super helpful, friendly and informative. All in all, I'm in for a experience.. and that's what I got, a good one.. I will be back! Thanks again to Jeff and Lindsay 🌞🤙

All I can say is wow. The level of knowledge on tree planting was really next level. No upselling, just fully educating me on growing an Italian Prune plum tree. They calmly talked me through what I could and could not do with my land and that was the tree we settled on. Really amazing service

Wish I had made the trip out here sooner. The staff is amazing and will go to great lengths to help you find whatever you need. The prices are extremely competitive and fair, I did not feel like I could have done better elsewhere. The organization, sectioning and shade tents are impeccable and I shopped in comfort, versus feeling overheated and having to leave the previous nursery I had just come from. The pot sizes and selection beat out the competitors I had visited, as I needed a pot for a huge tree and this is the only place that had them. They have a stocked store with product. And again, the staff are outstanding from those outside, in the store and the staff at the till. Friendly, helpful, problem solvers, and knowledgeable. I will drive out here for all my garden and landscaping needs going forward. Thank you.
