Great place, the operators are experienced.

The only downfall is that only one truck can un cable logs at a time which makes it annoying, massive line ups occur because of this.

My Dispatch neither the broker told me that they require safety shoes that are 8 inches high, it was my first time picking up here, I understand ( Stacy) the shipper was only doing her duty, but they asked me to buy 8 inches high ankle, safety shoes otherwise they will not load me. I had my safety shoes. I have all the other PPE that was required. The only problem was my safety shoes were not 8 inches high. This is so stupid., I had to spend $200 from my own pocket because there was only one shop in atikokan , they should have make an exception if someone is picking up first time, if someone don’t have PPE that’s a different thing,

it was my first time picking up here, I have overnight stay here. Stacey, the shipper lady here, I had my safety shoes, but she rejected it. she asked me to buy 8 inches high ankle, safety shoes from a specific shop atikokan otherwise she will not load me. I have all the other PPE that was required. The only problem was my safety shoes were not 8 inches high. This is so stupid., I had to spend $225 from my own pocket because there was only one shop in atikokan. They have commission with shop of shoes. They should have make an exception if someone is picking up first time, if someone don’t have PPE that’s a different thing,

They wasted my time almost all day. I have very bad experience with them on site.

The lady works at shipping office her name is Rita. She is the best, she will explain each and every policy for the loading and unloading on the property. Very polite and friendly lady specially doesn’t rush.
