I highly recommend Doodle Creek to anyone looking to welcome a pup into their home! After months and months of research, we chose Doodle Creek for our English Golden Doodle, Louie. Nathan was quick to respond, informative and friendly. Our little guy is healthy as can be, is so lovable, has an excellent temperament and has been the light of our little family.

Side note: he was the easiest pup to crate train which can be really tough. I think there may have been exposure from young? Not totally sure, but very happy about it.

We got a puppy from Doodle creek in April 2022. She has been perfect - no health issues and an incredible temperament. You can tell that there is a lot of care and thought has been put into the breeding programs at Doodle Creek.

She adapted very quickly to home life, and you can tell that she was well handled prior to coming home.

Everyone absolutely loves our puppy, she was worth every penny we paid.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This is a glamorized puppy mill. Doodles cannot be ethically bred because they are not registered breeds, there is no genetic testing done and this is confirmed by multiple reviews about taking home sick puppies. The rooms are very reminiscent to the lay out of a slaughter house. Is this a build a bear? Merle, apricot, black, mini, standard. Just despicable.

Really great experience. Communication was prompt, but also very honest. We enjoyed them trying to find a dog and personality that really met our needs. We love our dog and was a perfect match. My father also got a dog here and similar story.

We have just brought home our sweet little girl this past weekend from Doodle Creek. We are in love with her and the entire process in getting to bring our girl home! I did a lot of research prior to joining any wait list to make sure I was choosing the best breeder for a mini doodle. When I came across Doodle Creek I was blown away with photos of the facility, the detail in which they describe their process and of course the look of their dogs. We ended up choosing to go on a waiting list for a mini olde English doodle, loving their rounded faces and loyal personality. Nathan has been wonderful at answering any questions I have had, always giving great detail and a prompt response time. When our litter was born and we officially were matched up with getting a girl from it the email that was provided to us for puppy prep was incredible! It covered everything you would need to know to make sure you were prepared as well as really great training tips and resources that have been really useful. When our pick up day arrived I was once again impressed with how professional the process was, the facility in my opinion is even more stunning and clean than the photos and videos, everyone we dealt with was so kind and answered any additional questions we had. And most importantly our pup is stunning! She is a perfect, sweet, snuggly pup and we could not be more happy with her! Buying a pup is an expensive thing to do, especially for a special breed like this, but after comparing other breeders in Ontario to doodle creek there is no comparison, their pricing is more than reasonable compared to others and the quality and process you go through with them really justify the price tag. We drove 3.5 hours to get our girl and were on a waiting list for a few months and it was definitely all worth it and if we ever decide to get another dog will 100% be from doodle creek! 10/10, 5 star recommendation!!

Superb care goes into Doodle Creek’s puppies. We just got our second puppy and the experience was great from start to finish. Very knowledgeable and thorough with each puppy, great facility and advice in raising the puppies. We couldn’t be happier with our puppies, the experience and service.

Everything that is on their website from communication to training is the polar opposite of our experience. It has been in the most literal sense the worst imaginable experience in bringing home our pup, and the amount of emotional distress this has caused our family is enormous. The first few months with our pup is seared into our family history. We have come to love our pup, but it has been a very long road. And we are dog lovers and dog parents prior to our Doodle Creek pup. The very least of it has been dealing with our pups endless GI issues. We have pet insurance and are still many thousands of dollars in to figuring out how to keep weight on our pup. We're currently still trying to figure it out well over our pup being a year old. That said, we've finally seen an internist and dietician that provided some helpful tools, and have us feeling hopeful. For those of you who are struggling the same way we are, I want to share this in case it's helpful to you so that at least what we are going through has some utility to the world. We started with Entyce to jump our pups appetite (yes it was that bad). Then put our pup on vegan fresh dog food, Bramble (yes, we have tried elimination diets). Our pup won't eat it unless we add Kefir (we use one percent) and coconut oil (portioned for daily intake between 2 meals). We've also started her on Visio Biome probiotics for dogs, which came highly recommended by our internist and is a very potent probiotic. So far, so good. Finally, I recommend that if you're not in a dire circumstance like us and just need to get something started, our internist also highly recommended testing our pup's gut through AnimalBiome. Which we will do once we normalize. If you are in the boat that we are, my heart and well wishes go out to you and your bank account.
