I had the immense pleasure of having Kevin and his crew redesign my backyard this summer. I was looking to extend my fence, creating a larger more functional space. Kevin’s design was perfect for what I was looking for. Paul, Jesse and Renis were all absolutely amazing! They were so efficient, respectful and professional in bringing the design to life. Everything was incredibly organized and Paul kept me informed of their daily progress. Even afterwards, Kevin was supportive in helping me ensure my sod took root and thrived. I cannot recommend Earthscape Toronto enough. An amazing job and overall experience. Well done!

Working with Earthscape was a real pleasure. My front pad had to be dug up which was a massive inconvenience to both myself and neighbours but Earthscape made the upheaval as minimal as possible and were very considerate of everybody around. The space looks better than i could imagine but it was the care and consideration that I received from everyone in the company that I really appreciated the most. The photos dont do it justice. We could not be more grateful for the work, diligence, and kindness that we experienced working with Earthscape. The entire process was managed with the utmost professionalism and care, and any time we had questions or concerns or changes, Kevin and his team went above and beyond to ensure us that they would handle it and that it was not a nuisance, which I really appreciated in contrast with past experiences with other contractors. The amount of planning, hard work, and detail that went into our project was mind blowing to fathom (even for myself, as a detail oriented person) and after having gone through the process of working with Earthscape, I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. I highly recommend them as a company if you want to alleviate the stress and confusion of managing the level of decision making required for landscaping projects. Ours is a semi detached home in Toronto (so not a ton of space to work with and not as vast or glamorous as a larger home might be able to achieve) and still, the level of attention and respect given to our space and our vision was just incredible. 5 star experience from beginning to end!

The team at Earthscape was fantastic to work with; it's the first time that we worked with the Toronto crew (we completed a smaller project with Earthscape's Kitchener-Waterloo crew a few years ago). We really appreciated how prompt, transparent and responsive everyone was (especially Kevin and Josip) throughout our entire project - from the initial consultation, inception and review of landscape designs, to construction and the follow up the team did the following summer.

The project began with consultations with Kevin and Josip. Kevin addressed all of our questions the pertained to construction, including questions about grading and drainage, while Josip guided us through the landscaping design. Estimates were promptly and accurately provided along with the design proposals that were presented to us; Kevin and Josip worked closely with us to find ways to adjust materials and designs so that the project fit within our budget. As we looked to move to the construction phase of the project, we were met with supply chain issues because of the pandemic -- Kevin proactively kept us in the loop on availability of materials and offered alternate material choices to help bring up the timeline for construction.

The construction crew was great - Ross, Renis, Aidyn, Matt and Kieran were super approachable while they were on site; they regularly communicated with us on what to expect next and answered questions that we had along the way. They worked meticulously with great craftsmanship. Earthscape properly ensures that the base/foundations are properly laid down to ensure that the hardscape can last a long time (and slow down/minimize settling). With natural products, there's inherently variation in colour and patterning -- they took that into consideration to ensure that the layout of the product was well blended and visually pleasing. We observed and really liked their "measure twice, cut once" approach. While working on our driveway, they noticed that the pavers were from different batches that had noticeable colour variations and they proactively worked to correct that with their landscaping material supplier.

There were a few minor touch ups that we flagged the following summer and they were addressed promptly.

We were exceptionally pleased with the final product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Earthscape to others that are looking to landscape their property and would hire Earthscape again for our future landscaping projects.

Recently we completed a total backyard renovation and had the opportunity to work with Earthscape (Kevin and Josip in particular). I rarely post reviews but because their work was so exceptional I thought that I'd share our experience... and some photos too!! From design to execution the work delivered on all of our goals. Josip listened to our design needs and building of our inspiration he found practical ways to execute what we wanted. We had envisioned a backyard oasis in the city and the final product exceeds our imagination. The execution team was just as fantastic as they all took such great pride in their work. The workman ship and attention to detail is present in every spot. Lastly, I would single out Kevin who would worked with us as the project lead. He is the type of professional everyone wants to work with. We managed our needs, lead the project and continues to ensure we are thrilled with the outcome. There is no one else I would trust work to in the future. Cheers to the whole team and thank you for all you did.

Working with Kevin, Josip and the talented crews was a delight from start to finish. We had been procrastinating on doing a full backyard/deck reno based on negative past experiences with indoor contractors (from different companies). After 1 meeting with Kevin I was fully reassured that this experience would be completely different. Kevin is kind, honest and a straight shooter and approached landscaping from an academic perspective (I was not surprised to learn that he has lectured in the field). Our designer Josip was equally warm and also a perfectionist and put together an amazing 3D model that was perfectly replicated in our yard. Josip also helped me find decorative features outside the scope of the project and his generosity showed his investment in us and the backyard outcome. Everything was transparent, and as the project was minimally tweaked, Kevin would automatically remove budget lines or add as needed after consultation with us. I was also impressed with how hands-on Kevin and Josip were. They would show up whenever we had questions and were on-site with the crews providing direction (and even digging a few holes themselves!). The deck crew was awesome and a hoot- Blair and Travis entertained us with their lovely singing voices. The main demo and landscaping crew, overseen by Renis, were incredibly hard working and would often arrive at sunrise to get started. One of my big concerns was maintaining the grading away from the house and I am quite amazed at the perfect downward slope that was generated by Renis and the crew after a total yard demo. They took good care of our big tree too which is wonderfully integrated into the design. My neighbours also commented on how friendly everyone was so I felt reassured that they were minimally inconvenienced by the work. I highly recommend this company if you want high quality work by committed, kind individuals. You will get your moneys worth and more!
