Janet from East City Flower Shop did the flowers for our wedding in August and they were beautiful! She was so easy to deal with, we went in a few times to update plans of how many boutonnières we needed and add on flower arrangements for the barrels in our ceremony and every time she had great ideas for what to do and it was no problem to make changes. She was able to order in peonies (my favourite flowers) from somewhere else as they were out of season and I was so happy to have them in my wedding bouquet. She also did the flower arrangements in mason jars for our tables at our reception which looked beautiful! They delivered our flowers to the venue the day of the wedding and everything was there and ready to go when we arrived! Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding so wonderful!

I had a terrible experience. I was looking for peonies. They sold out. Difficult getting answers as to next shipment. I looked back at the cooler and found one unsold peony. It had a bit of brown around the outside. I said I lol give it a home. Clerk went to the back to ask another lady about it.
He came back out and slipped in cello pack. I assumed free or a dollar. He handed it over and said $10! For a dying flower. Because he wrapped it and the flower deserved better, I paid them
I couldn’t save it. Lesson learned!
Greed infuriates me.
The shop itself is disgusting. Dirty and smelly and unorganized. For goodness sake, clean your shop!!!!

Buyer beware, preorder issues. I pre ordered flowers for my grandma for pickup on Mother’s Day, on behalf of my aunt who lives out of province. The order was confirmed, and when I arrived I was offered a totally different arrangement than what I had ordered. When I said this, they started to make my arrangement, but it was nothing like what I had ordered, and I was told this was the best they could do with what they had left. This wasn’t satisfactory as my order shouldn’t have been confirmed if they didn’t have what flowers were needed for my order. On the third attempt after the owner mentioned there was a lack of communication about what I had ordered, it was close enough to the picture online and I was ready to just leave with them after 45 minutes in the store between waiting in line behind people getting on the spot custom bouquets made, when the arrangement was finally done. Then I got to the car and realized that the custom message card I had requested was missing. I went back in and mentioned this, and was given a blank card and envelope and asked if I wanted a pen to fill it out myself. I said that I would do it when I got home. I recognize that Mother’s Day is probably their busiest day of the year, but it was so frustrating to have gone through this despite pre-ordering and having my order confirmed for my grandmas favourite flowers, while watching people get custom bouquets last minute. I was told the only resolution was to replace the flowers within 96 hours, which really isn’t what was needed. The arrangement I ended up with, while similar to the photo online, appeared to be much less full than what I ordered, and didn’t feel like it was worth the price. I didn’t find that the customer service was appropriate for the multiple mix-ups. I called today to follow up and was told that they hoped to do better on my next order, which I’m not convinced that I will ever place. If pre-ordering, it may be a good idea to call and confirm your order by phone as well in hopes that you will actually get what you ordered at your pickup time.

Got these cute flowers and a box of chocolates for my mom and she absolutely loved them. They came fresh—flowers looking fresh with green stems. It just gives a lot of warmth, and I’m someone who doesn’t like the common red flowers, so the color choice of this bouquet was perfect for me. I like it.

I’m happy that my mom loved it, and cheers to that. Delivery was on time. I wasn’t able to go to the store because of how busy I am, so I’m glad there’s an online option. The website was easy and smooth. I placed the order at almost midnight, and by noon the next day, the flowers were already delivered. That meant a lot. I didn’t have to break up my routine, and at the same time, I was able to be present—even if I wasn’t physically there with her. Thank you.

I could also customize a little card that would go with the flowers. Cute!
