The appropriate authorities should look into easy financial operations.
They will take all your information, id card, selfie, sin, have access into your bank account then they will tell you, your work permit expires in three months that they need minimum six months that you should get a co-applicant. When you give them a co-applicant they will do same thing they did to you to the co-applicant and also go as far as requesting ROE from the co-applicant. When they get everything they needed from the co-applicant they will tell the co-applicant her work permit has eight months to expire that they need minimum nine months, they will tell the co-applicant to get another co-applicant that has nine months work permit. That’s shady, be careful with them.

I’ve used their services twice. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they ultimately did help by approving my loan — BUT…

The staff at this location have shown a clear pattern of dishonesty. They routinely provide misleading information just to get your application through.

On my first loan, which I fully paid off, multiple agents — including the manager — who appeared to be of South Asian (Indian) background, repeatedly assured me that the pre-approval process would not affect my credit score. They told me at least five times that no credit check would be performed until the final signing. That turned out to be false — I received a credit inquiry before even accepting the loan, followed by a full credit check after signing. It wasn’t the end of the world, just my credit, so I let it go.

A few months later, I took out a second loan, this time fully aware of how things worked. I initially agreed to the add-on services they offered, like credit building and insurance. About a month later, I called the office and requested that all add-ons be removed, making it clear that I only wanted to pay the loan principal and interest.

This time, I dealt with a male agent, also of South Asian (Indian) background, who assured me the changes would be completed by Friday and that he would call to confirm. Friday came — no call. I followed up and spoke with the same agent. When he tried to delay it again, I insisted on staying on the line until the services were removed. At that moment, he confirmed everything was handled, and I was satisfied.

UNTIL NOW.

I recently downloaded the EasyFinancial / goeasy app and found that two “Value-Added Services” — EasyAdvantage+ and Credit Builder — are still active on my account.

This same agent had confirmed — multiple times, at least ten — that all extra services were removed and my monthly payments were strictly for principal and interest.

I understand these employees work under a commission-based system and have sales targets to meet, but there’s a clear lack of transparency and ethical standards at this location.

It’s extremely disappointing. I had placed my trust in this company, but it’s evident there’s little to no oversight or compliance in place.

Giving 2 stars — and even that feels generous.
