Have used them for years and not bad service. There were some issues with the Hydro Farm buy out and Geenstar wholesale merger but they seem to be have been ironed out for the most part.

As for requiring a store front, just rent a cheap $500 retail space and you`re done. Thinking you gonna compete with 100+ online Canadian hydro stores selling the same items from your home is already a business plan failure.

Also only place to get Gaia Green 🙂

I tried contacting these people multiple times over a 1 week period leaving voicemails, no one returned my call. Finally on the 4th day someone answered.....Don't contact this place if you're looking to start an account with them as a new customer!!!!!!! I explained I was a new business starting out, looking to set up recurring (monthly) purchases for WHOLESALE /BULK perlite and the very rude man I spoke with asked me "why I thought I was above everyone else who had to go buy 110L bags at the store" and that he "has customers that he protects, customers who have employees and even pay overhead".... I was never given the opportunity to explain that I was a start up, and I was never given the opportunity to make an account with them to become a reoccurring customer. VERY VERY RUDE. Extremely disappointed that I can't award you the ZERO stars you so obviously deserve. I have never been treated like this by any of my other suppliers who I purchase WHOLESALE rye berries, and coconut coir from.. this place is absolute trash.

The only reason this gets one star is so I can share a stock to short: Hydrofarm USA the new owners. 12years I've been dealing with them great place that has been run into the ground. I was literally berated and scolded by the staff for trying to do business as I always have. After being attacked for my foolishness by junior staff the senior guy with his security goon behind him carried on berating me. It was shocking to me until a few hours driving later (it's an 8 hour round trip for me from our location) it occurred to me Eddie's is within months of being closed down by Hydrofarm USA. Remember that name, short the stock and stay as far away from their products as possible. Shocking experience.

An example of why Canadian businesses are not competitive globally. They refuse to set up any new business that does not have a retail store front. I guess the Internet is just too messy and difficult to deal with...

Their website is horrible. I have to call them EVERY time I need to know if an item is available which looks unprofessional to a customer. They also don't seem to care about feedback. I try and give it, but the people that work for them basically tell me "too bad, so sad" every time.
