This year I was unable to make it to this Urban Farm and today a kind gardener let me in to this amazing community garden that is near #EastEdmontonHealthCentre and #BordenPark. Impressive upkeep and major work ongoing today as the season ends; #YEG is fortunate to have this community garden which is impeccable with a range of veggies and native plants being grown. God willing next year I will be there early in the year and perhaps even volunteer!! Bravo to all whose hard work maintains and sustains this community garden!

Big farm, it's like a community garden, most plants are similar crops, beans, tomatoes, kales. Good place to take your kids for a visit

You have maintaining very nice farms and happy to looking it.I have 25 years experiences in Forage crops including alfalfa, oats, Barley, wheat, potato, vegetable crops etc. I have expertise in Soil Fertility Management as I did PhD in Soil Science and having 50 years experiences.

Took my class to this facility. Not at all what I expected...it was better. I knew my students and asked the questions before going to ensure that the facility supported my students. The staff were very knowledgable not only about the type of farming done on the site, but also with the history of the site and the people who plant there. The students had a great time. Look forward to Covid disappearing so my students can reap the benefits of farming within the urban setting.

What another great little gem in the heart of this wonderful city! Kids and I went on a field trip this fall and had a blast! So much to do, lots of hands on and nitty gritty learning. Staff was amazing with the kids, super knowledgable and friendly. Different stuff to do with the changing seasons as well which I thought was neat.
So much fun!

This place is not accessible to those with mobility disabilities nor were they properly composting like they said they do. Staff didn't seem equally educated on its contents and therefore visitors were not all hive the same actual information of plants, gardening at the farm nor the creation and uses of the foods grown. Sad.
