Purely from a sightseeing perspective and not as someone utilizing the services of the Marina. Nice quiet Marina with a nice backdrop to look at. Not many places to sit and enjoy the scenery but still very nice to go and watch the beautiful boats. Very well kept and clean!

Spent last night here on our way north. The marina has improved year over year for the last several. Very kind and helpful staff. Free showers and laundry. A gorgeous view out of the marina. The marina is somewhat exposed and there is some wave and wake motion especially on the outermost berths but it’s not bad. Very nice cleaning station and a beautiful restaurant and bar.

Love this place. Been mooring here for 3 years off and on. Lots of investment in this gem of Vancouver island. Shae and Emily are attentive and on point with dock service and organization. Really great job! Seascape restaurant and cafe is a great addition and must do pit stop when traveling the east side of Vancouver island.

This marina has improved so much in the last two years its hard to believe. For starters just look at the entrance in front of the office to the marina. Excellent landscaping has been done, huge slabs of concrete have been poured (which are level and smooth) to make a huge concourse with tables to boot. New boat ramp dock and walkway ramps to the docks installed with up to date aluminum non skid footing, and wide enough to pass people. The security has improved also to the point we have all the lights working, gates and cameras in place. The manager is a helpful, friendly human who you can actually talk too and solve issues (not like the last one). The staff are always helpful and friendly.
There are lots more improvements coming to this marina so if this is what it’s going to be like this is the place to be.

Friendly staff, willing to go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.already.

UPDATE: My only concerned issue was there were signs all over the marina. No boat washing/rinsing or filling your boat with water. Fully understand the low water conditions. My issue is this, water shortage, fine. But why was I charged $5 a day for water I could not use? Refund of $20 seems to be appropriate.

We had a mechanical breakdown and sailed into the marina, tying onto the first dock we saw. Other boaters helped us secure the boat. In the morning we went to the marina office to talk to the manager and pay for the night's moorage. He temporarily reserved space for us in case we needed extra time to solve the problem and did not charge us for the night. Very generous and kind. The restaurant was good and the marina has great facilities.
