I had a nice trip to the islands and was looking forward to interacting with some cute animals. I’m just concerned for some of these animals though. There are ducks huddled in a corner that looked too weak to move, maybe the heat and no pond in their fence? The rabbits looked scared in their tiny cage and the peacock feathers looked unhealthy. The water bowls weren’t filled in some areas. People visiting were being idiots where they scream at the animals or hit the cages, I didn’t see any monitoring around. I just hope the animals welfare isn’t as bad as what I witnessed. I’m not sure where they go after this but I hope it’s a vast area of greens away from humans gawking at them.

I love this place. It’s so underrated. Everyone talks about Toronto Island and its nice view and beach but doesn’t mention this nice petting zoo. Staff are super friendly and attentive to animals. There are many animals that you can bound with, from goats, ponies, donkeys, cats to beautiful peacocks. Highly recommend visiting this place.

Love the farm. The staff was friendly & it was so nice to be able to pet the animals. Really nice quick & short getaway from the city. The peacocks are so beautiful & so are the parots & horses.

Such a cute farm located right in Centerville. There are a good range of animals to visit and there is no cost to entry. The grounds are clean and enjoyable to visit.

Cute little farm that has no entry cost, but they do accept any donations to take care of the animals. We had fun walking around but there weren’t many animals to see. Quite a few of the enclosures were empty. My little one loves animals but wasn’t able to see any here as they were far away or asleep. Hope to visit again this summer!

A great way to show kids from the city some farm animals up close. They loved the experience and learned a lot from the onhand staff. Donations were welcomed to help maintain the farm and no fixed cost charged, which enables families in all economic situations the ability to benefit from the farm.

My heart breaks for these animals. The conditions are not the worst I have seen, but they are bad.

Specially this poor Amazon. They are failing on so many fronts, it tells me this poor bird is not under the care of avian/exotic vet. They are missing basic care that you can Google.

He needs an indoor outdoor aviary. This cage is not adequate. It’s not clean. There are no adequate toys, no foraging opportunities. They are using dowel perches (causes bumblefoot and arthritis). I didn’t see fresh chop or quality pellets. His food seems to be a seed mix (terrible for their livers).

PLEASE close this place down and surrender these animals to sanctuaries that can care for them.

Shame on you if you don’t.
